Nebraska Senators to allocate lottery winnings
I'm always surprise when people buy lottery tickets and never bother to check them themselves, but I guess it happens all the time. I was picking up some gas the other day and the lady ahead of me bought 20 instant tickets after paying for her gas, gave the tickets back to the clerk and asked her to check them with the terminal. When the clerk told her, there wasn't a winner among them, she thanked her and left. On the back of most instant tickets, the printed odds are 1:5 or better, so I was

Does anybody win more than they spend ?
Quote: Originally posted by RJOh on March 23, 2004Unless you win the jackpots, you'll never win more than you spend.RJOhI disagree. In the last year I have had wins of $625, $1150, $1125, and $1100. All were second tier prizes. These only include the wins that I had to redeem at lottery HQ. This doesn't include the wins of less than $600 that don't have to be redeemed at lottery HQ. I have spent a little over $2000 getting those wins so I am making a profit. I would have made another $500 when I

ticket printer
RJOh is correct. If the slips are not trimmed consistently, you will have trouble printing. What I do is when I need more slips, I will grab a whole stack of them and then set up the bet slip properties to work to work that stack of slips and only use those slips until there are used up. Then when I get another stack of slips I will adjust the bet slip properties accordingly to work with that batch of slips and use those until they are used up. I have found that grabing a large stack of slips f

Lottery Pool Concept
Quote: Originally posted by fja on March 17, 2004 ...if I'm spending $2,000 on tickets what kind of guarantees do I have that all combos are going to be played..If you had $2,000 to spend on one shot at winning a lottery, why would you want to join a pool? Most people join a pool because they don't want to spend a lot of money. The only guarantee you would have is the 2000 tickets you bought and if you won, you would have to split with everyone that claimed they bought tickets and if nobody wo

pick 4 converter
four4me,If I understand what you are trying to do (find combinations of 4's that have not hit in any boxed combination), your solution isn't that hard. Since match 4's combinations have 25 ways they can be played, a list of all box combinations(10,000/25) should be included on a list of 400 combinations. Make up such a list and with any good lottery program, you can compare it to the history of your match4 games and eliminate any that have matched 4 and anything left has not.RJOh P.S. if you h

Mega Millions 2004-03-05
Tso-gali-II'll do some checking and see what I can find out. RJOH, yes I think it is possible. The reason I say that is a while back, I use to wheel 24 to 30 number's and be way off on what hit. Now, I try to wheel 12 to 18 number's and I am getting much closer to what hit's than before. Now, am I just getting more familiar with the number's and how they hit ? I think so. After studing the number's for so many years, I have come to know (fairly close) as to what number's hit's after certa

Here is a 18 numbers wheel that will match 3 if 5 winning numbers are in the group if you ever get down to 18 numbers. Neural Networks- Applicable to Lottery?
Quote: Originally posted by RJOh on March 07, 2004 My question is:If anyone can detect certain reoccurring patterns with data mining software, why won't states running lotteries use similar software to make sure their systems were truly random? I would think if they found such patterns, they would introduce other factors randomly to make the process truly random and the only constants would be the field and combinations sizes.RJOhMaybe you are giving the states too much credit... They have a se

Winners and their methods
According the a post by plnwebguyhttps://www.lotterypost.com/news/82622.htmEric Maxwell, the last MegaMillions winner pick his own numbers and just wanted high numbers so he began with 25 and started counting by 5 and added his fianc 's birth-date (04) as the Mega Ball. And then there was Jack Whittaker, the largest single jackpot winner ever, who bought a $100 worth of QPs.I'm sure there are as many ways to pick your numbers as there are winners. The facts are lotteries are random dvents and y
