The article states sources said that Simpson was engaged to the daughter of the lottery winner. The vast majority of the article is just a rehash of the lottery winner's story. Looks like the media was just looking for something to print about these people. To me this is a small example of what is wrong with the media. The story really isn't newsworthy.

I found this forum thru an odd method. Was on a financial forum site and they mentioned an article about financial winfalls, the link led to this website! Started reading the article and viola! It caught my eye! I didnt realize that a site such as this existed to help folks share their methods. So in eccense the news articles. To this day I still delight in the lastest news articles posted here! Thank you Todd for relaying them for folks to read.
