Of that list the only ones I ever worry about selling out are 5000, 1211 3110 2120 as those get sold out box everyday with 5000 being the earlist usually followed by either 1211 or 1130. 2120 you usually can get in box by at least 6:00 for the evening draw. They won't sell out days in advance unless the date is coming (like in December nearing Christmas, 1220 would keep getting sold out). The others won't sell out unless something big happens a number related to the event happens to be it.

Good point. I completely forgot to factor in inflation. Even so, a $90 million jackpot win would only make it into local news...if it even does. No one would care unless there was something else involved to make it newsworthy, like being won by a vet or a homeless person or the winner gave it all away...something in that vein. It just seems unbelievable that at some point a $40 million was a big enough deal to be a national event.

OHIO draws are non-computerized, even if is it computerized, why do you thinking is 'failing' YOU? may be you need different approach to data inference, may be you're over analysing, maybe your workout is bias when back testing(see a hit after the fact !), may be, you're too logical, may be you do not accept the event been RANDOM !

Like many others have mentioned, most folks don't have stash of money sitting around in the event they win a lottery jackpot. Having access to a emergency loan would go a long way in allowing a winner to get their life and safety in order prior to receiving the prize money.
