British Columbia Lottery taking bets on US election
for the record, I would never burn the American Flag. It's a form of protest where I can never see the point; like kneeling during the National Anthem. Very doubtful that someone would burn a flag at a VFW Post or any of the other Veterans organizations because they would be protesting the Veterans, not the government, the military or the country. In 1968 Congress passed the Flag Protection Act and 48 states inacted similar legislation, but the Act was struck down as unConstitutional twi

British Columbia Lottery taking bets on US election
Maryland now has a Republican governor, only the second since the 1960's. Kentucky did the same thing last year and our new Governor apparently doesn't want to be re-elected. Are you happy with the way the politicians are running Kentucky? The state had gridlock for years, long before I moved here. I can't find anybody that voted for Rand Paul six years ago, but he'll easily win re-election next week. Paul, McConnell and all but one House member run on supporting the coal industry e

1. Her China speech on women. 2. Her role in killing Osama bin Laden. 3. Management of the State Department during which time we saw a 50 percent increase in exports to China, aggressive work on climate (particularly at Copenhagen), and the effort to create and implement the toughest sanctions ever on Iran helping to lead us to the agreement currently on the table. Alabama may try lottery vote in special session
According to Alabama Senate President Pro Tem Del Marsh, Alabama lawmakers are being polled in regard to their support for legislation establishing a lottery ahead of a presumed special session. Gov. Robert Bentley said last week he's considering a special session to tackle budget issues, such as the lingering $85 million gap in the state's Medicaid program. Lawmakers funded up to $700 million for Medicaid, which requires at least $785 million to operate. A special session would be called

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Ironically, I saw a few Publix stores having a roll of the $10 Holiday Gifts when I requested a report for all the rolls in the Jacksonville and Gainesville area. There's a good number of $10 Holiday Gift rolls out there, many of which are in the lower distribution number 60k . Are you still focusing on Super Millions? I hope you hit a $100k+ prize bud. I sent an email to the lottery asking them to clarify what happens when rolls are deactivated/destroyed, and asked for information they

Alabama senator makes one last push for lottery vote before end of legislative session
Alabama's Legislation forget it suppose to be working for all the voters. Not just the evangelical voters. Where is all this illegal gambling going on at? I guess they must seen it enjoyed it, we haven't . Please don't tell me about Alabama's moral compass. Somebody dropped on it head along time ago. Alabama will spend more money this year on taking care of drug addicts, housing , food, clothing, programs... etc...then schools or something people really want a Lottery.

Can't beat the state P3 Odds but maybe
Just some new form of good old Greed usually works! Maybe a particular state attempting to increase their own sales, and experimenting around with different rules and payouts will start it by accident. A financially strapped State desperately attempting to save their lottery and increase ticket sales. Pressure from the voters or politicians trying to get elected. Pressure to change existing legislation. A libertarian could beat a socialist one day and clear all the runways. Apparently, st

Arizona $188.9M Powerball winner claims prize
By Todd Northrop Arizona Lottery officials say the winner of the $188.9 million Powerball jackpot has come forward to claim the prize from the June 3 drawing. The Powerball prize money was claimed well within the 180-day time period that is given to the winner to claim the money. According to an AP report, the winner asked not to be identified, and lottery officials didn't release any details on the person's gender, age or hometown Tuesday. Earlier this year, state lawmakers overwhel

Does your state lottery offer online tickets
Here is the reply I got Unfortunately, no. While federal legislation has exempted state lotteries from a new law restricting interstate online wagering, it is still unclear at this time how the new law will impact the sales of Lottery tickets via the Internet. Guess I will have to keep after them, seems a little silly to have everything in place and not taking advantage of it. RL

Illinois Lottery adds new feature to numbers games
No, you don't understand the lottery industry. You're a new member so you should read up on some other articles some more. Over the years the lotteries have introduced games with successively higher payouts above the standard 50% return of daily and jackpot games.(particularly scratch games) The reasoning being higher payouts brings in new players, or entices existing players to play more. A lot of people complain about lotteries trying to boost profits, but they can't really do that. Their p
