Ah cool. Thanks. Sorry.
I won a free ticket...I am gonna start thinking about a strategy for this game...it is hard because it just started. I plan on using a wheel but picking 18 numbers from a pool of 47 with no history to go by is going to be a pain.

Lottery fails in Wyoming
I completely agreed with you. I have been playing for years even though i know that only a few of millions win prizes.Lotteries were created to separate most individuals from thier money and make a few rich with the pool of players money, not with the house money.I have only seen a few winning a starting jackpot amount during the years that i have played.BUT THE FACT IS THAT I PLAY BECAUSE I WANT TO, NOBODY FORCES ME TO DO SO.IT'S A FREE CHOICE TO PLAY.Take a look at the following out of million

2nd chance drawings...
Yes, the Scratcher Replay system here in CA is pretty good.(well, can't really say it's *good* until I win one of 'em! ;)
EVERY losing ticket is eligible for 2nd chance draw: (from calottery website)
After you have successfully entered your codes, they will be entered into TWO drawings:
The first drawing is the POOL DRAWING which occurs every few months. All codes from all eligible Scratchers tickets entered before that specific pool drawing deadline will go into a drawing for TEN priz

Considering the winning PB ticket sold at the laundomat...
I'm really surprised bars (as in 'bar grill) here don't have them. I've seen so many stories mention people buying winning ones from there yet I've never seen any here sell anything other than food or beer, with the only games being things like pool, shuffle board and arcade machines.
There have been times I was out with a friend and we stayed past the cutoff time for buying tickets (about 9pm here), would have been nice to just be able to get some there.

How many different stores do you buy Scratch tickets from?
Yeah, just in general, not lifetime stores or anything. Just the set of stores that you typically buy from nowadays.
I buy from a pool of about 12 different stores in my area, which includes a bunch of convenience stores and shops, some gas stations, and a couple of big grocery chains Ralphs and Vons that have the Scratcher vending machines. I drop a $20 on those once or twice a week while getting groceries, but they don't seem to win much.

A Lotto Expectations
I checked pick 3 straight . I do get it once in a while and enough to stay in the game .
I play in a pool out of where I work and last night we had 127.00 in tickets . We didn't even get the powerball number . I'll be happy if we ever win but with plays like that , I don't expect to win that one.

Christmastime battle over lottery jackpot
There is nothing wrong with being in a lottery pool as long as there is something in writing that clearly states what happens when someone does not pay a particular week.
The document should be notarized.

MM bumped up a bit for tonight
I found a link on YouTube a while back of this guy who runs a lottery pool and he records himself printing and validating the tickets. On one he prints out like $850 worth of tickets... it was actually the same drawing as the Christmas Eve Miracle win last year.
Anyways, I went out and used quarters from my change jar to get an additional $10 worth of tickets, so a total of $15 for tonight.
