Scratchers are a guaranteed pool to play from. People like fixed odds for one game and want to play against the same odds or better hoping they will win before all the tickets are sold. Kind of like raffle ticket feaver.People are getting desperate and any peak in sales will precede a sharp drop. I expect the divisions to make some changes soon. Looks like CA is on to it. DD

The reasoning behind this is, when one picks 5 numbers out of a pool, there are 120 different ways in which those 5 numbers can be picked, ranging from 1-2-3-4-5 to 5-4-3-2-1, hence the game odds are calculated as (39x38x37x36x35)/(1x2x3x4x5). That formula yields 575,757. Pick 10 is far more complicated, since 10 different games are being played from one draw.

The total pool of tickets sold cant be very big, that's why so few JP winners. Seems as if even the Take5 promotion for 2 free QP's isnt getting the job done. It's too bad, because Sweet Millions does have the best odd's to win a million, and it isnt para-mutuel.

Why do people play QP's?Reply
I only play quickpicks for the Cash 5 on nights there is no big lotto drawing. I do so because I have a certain set of numbers for the big games that I visualize. I can't use those same numbers for Cash 5 because the number pool is quite limited. I don't want to confuse my subconscious mind or the Universe by visualizing 2 different sets of numbers.

Conjecture? A conjecture is a proposition that is unproven but appears correct and has not been disproven. You do not have 100% QP Winners! The 4.5 are doing something else and you want proof here of someone to post the next results as proof to you Systems work? That s a good laugh! Your false conjecture is that Systems do not work. 4.5 as you state are not using QP's. Can't say for sure right now. I'd have to let the newness wear off before I make a decision. I'd have to see if any major problems seem to be developing such as no wins and too many wins. etc......... If I like what I see then sure I'd throw my hat into the lottery pool.
