POLL: Jackpot amounts
I was talking about this to a coworker that's in our pool and we both agreed that winning hundreds of millions would probably bring a lot of hassle to our lives, and a few million would be fine at our age. I voted 5-10 mil. That would be enough for me to retire and enjoy the rest of my life without worrying about money.

POLL: Jackpot amounts
If you ever find yourself the only winner of a jackpot larger than you would care to accept alone then you'll probably have no problems gathering a pool of family members, friends and neighbors who would be happy to claim it with you. The only problem is they probably wouldn't tell you if the situation was switched they would not do the same with you and you would probably like to think they would. Myself, if the jackpot was large enough to pay an annuity of $5M or more annually, I would acce

If you Ever Come out with a system that Cracks Powerball with 1 Ticket: Rules of Engagement..
pumpi76, Don't worry, I doubt if anyone will ever reduce the odds of winning PB from 1:195,249,054 to 1:1. Someone may reduce them to 1:500 but that would be more than one player might want to spend so they would have to throw in with a pool of people that could be trusted never to reveal their secret.

Brainstorming using Smart Luck Advantage Plus
It might also be not a bad idea to do following. Say we decide to wheel 18 numbers. So lets take 3 most frequent hitting numbers from last 20 draws along with their best 5 pairings. That give us 18 numbers to wheel. We do it for a month and then check what numbers are the most frequent and do the same with them. yes, we do power wheels. How? If one of the winners from last draw is between our numbers then that's our power number. If none we take the best adjacent from the pool we have. As to the

Brainstorming using Smart Luck Advantage Plus
I'm with you, all I can seem to string together are 3 of 5's, which I pretty much do by hand and not even wheeling! And I have to add that wheeling such a set does really work, but over the long haul, and maybe 3 or 4 times over the course of a year which you can see by backtesting. Hence the similarity to the lock n load theory, so that's why I like the idea of putting the all-time hotties into a couple of overlapping wheels along with those favorite friends and keep those as let's say base whe

What Should I do--Quit Playing?
Me and a co-worker/pool member were just talking about this this morning. We're both tired of not winning anything, not even small amounts. I'v been playing over 20 years and would like to win small amounts (more than a dollar or two please) sometimes. For now, I'm only playing in my pools, unleast until the jackpots get big again. Or until the frustration goes away. But I will NEVER GIVE UP.

Could the Lottery offical do this??
everytime when I DO NOT PLAY MM AND PB, SHOCKING, some of my own numbers were drawn!!! ECruz, sounds like Hindsight bias (The tendency to believe, after learning of an outcome, that you could have foreseen it). After all if you normally play as few as five lines with different numbers you are probably covering 20-25 of the numbers in the number pool, so it's likely that a couple of them would be in most of the winning combinations weather you played or not and matching a couple of your numb

Post your State's MegaMillion Payout
I think I'll continue contributing to the lottery pool I participate in. Groups seem to do fairly well in other States. Our group cashed in $7.00 last week...Whoopee, we're on our way.

Winning the Jackpot and taxes.
New to this site,so to begin saying Hi to All.There is a website that has mm/pb drawings amounts and payouts with both federal and state taxes for each state in USA for annuity/cash buyout, which states take state taxes and which do not.MY opinion if won, would be cash buy out, example 76million this weeks powerball,in MA would get check for 25.69 after federal/state taxes. But before claiming this would get IRS for 5754 which is for players winning in a pool( you can find this on-line) each person
