Auditors find 21 unreported wins by BC lottery retailers but no fraud
The retailers have an advantage over their customers if they are winning a higher percent of the prizes and they are not buying a higher percent of the tickets they sell. It may not be fraud legally but they know something that their customers don't and apparently neither does the auditors.

Should The Lottery Be Tax Free
We DO have taxation WITH representation.Trouble is,that representation ignores us until its time to get re-elected.Then they promise us the moon and then they promptly forget what they promised after they get re-elected.Seems to me that if an elected official makes a campaign promise and then fails to make an effort to keep that promise he/she should spend some prison time for fraud.Of course we'd need to build some new prisons to hold them all.

Indiana lottery players still hunting year-old jackpot
the sad thing is most states with RNG can not be trusted and aren't run properly and also have mistakes as proof.look at tennessee, look at indy, look at kansas with the same pick 3 number three or four days in a row, look at california with the derby game that was malfunctioning which was caught be a player in the state, the man ran the minnesota lottery commits suicide when problems were surfacing there.the lottery is being ruined by this computerized crap which is like the new coke in a way.its a

Employee hacks into online poker site
This is extremely different than using RNG's for the lottery, so I don't see it as offering any more reason than any other example of somebody doing whatever the system allows them to do to try and cheat.
OTOH, it is an extremely good lesson on the possibility for fraud in many forms of online gambling. It sounds like this guy was only trying to make his point, and therefore he was very blatant in what he did. Somebody who only wanted to make money by having an unfair advantage could potenti

W.C. store owner claims Lotto 6/49 jackpot
For 16 million dollars I wouldn't care if there was an appearance of fraud or impropriety. The investigation by the lottery would prove my innocence of any wrong doing. There will always be doubters and you can never convince them, anyway.Besides,I would move to a warmer climate and wouldn't be around to hear the doubters anyway.

W.C. store owner claims Lotto 6/49 jackpot
I agree with all of the above posts. Although there is no law saying a store owner or employee at a store can't purchase a lottery ticket win, I think they should go to another retailer just to avoid the appearance of fraud or impropriety.

New York Lottery won't pay $25,000 for taped-up scratch-off ticket
This woman is an idiot. How much did she think she would get after taxes anyway. This is clearly fraud and they should press charges.

Info On RNG'S
It may indeed prove nothing about fraud. It does, however, when combined with all the other debacles at the TN lottery, point toward massive incompetance on the part of the TN lottery. And in business, incompetance means turnover and startover. I would expect nothing less in this case.

Info On RNG'S
Hey Todd,
I'm not sure that any layman can see or measure or detect fraud on a ball machine. At least not a person who is not at the studio with some testing equipment. Magnets in balls; paint in Ping-Pong balls, etc. may not be detectable on a TV screen at all. Players don't catch these problems because they are fixed once the fraud is committed. I've never heard a person suggest a meaninful way to defaud an RNG (except for things like well, I would write the code to draw my numbers
