If you can pick one number you can win P3
Clipper, perhaps you are missing the point here. The Systems forum is for folks to share and learn about the best systems to use(on the record). If you don't want to share anything that's fine. No one ask. Perhaps you know of another less well known system that you might share that beats the current record holder system. The point is to find a system that everyone can see and might be demonstrated here and beats the current record of 10%. That's what folks want to see. It was an open question f

Probability of a rollover in PB and MM
The Megamillions jackpots in this particular series of rollovers is slightly larger than the last record breaking (see Jake649's thread) series of rollovers culminating in the $239 million dollar jackpot. Even so, the series now underway is closely tracking the previous run, about $2,000,000 annuity dollars greater on each rollover. This is way probably premature, and very loose, but the probability that the $239 jackpot will be matched is very approximately about 17% over all. The probability

MM sets a new record

Throw in the greatest number of first prize winners too, if you have them? Thanks. According to my records, the largest number of 2nd prize winners was 42 on June 20, 2003 when the jackpot was a record $183 million. The winning numbers were low which probably influenced the number of winners.Th

Record Powerball winner loses more money
The winner of a record Powerball lottery jackpot and his money seem destined to part. For the second time in several months, Jack Whittaker's vehicle was broken into and thousands of dollars were taken. The latest incident occurred Saturday morning when someone broke the window of his SUV and took a bank bag from the front seat containing more than $100,000. The vehicle was parked at Whittaker's house in Scott Depot, West Virginia. In August, more than $500,000 in cash and checks got stolen from h

Jack Whittaker in trouble with law!
...but on a more serious note, on the evening of December 25th, 2002, I remember buying my tickets for the drawing. Am I sad that a portion of the four dollars that I spent on that drawing went to Jack Whittaker?...not really. I took a chance that evening, just as I do for every Powerball drawing. I don't know what the future PB jackpot winners will be like or how they will spend my dollar contributions. I simply continue my part (feeding the jackpot pool) thinking that someday maybe it'll be my

$100 Million Jackpot is Texas Record
The Mega Millions jackpot, which increased to $100 million after no tickets matched all six numbers last night, is the highest jackpot ever for the state of Texas. We promised players a game that would produce high level jackpots and be exciting, said Reagan E. Greer, Executive Director of the Texas Lottery Commission. Not only did we reach that goal, we included a game feature that players told us they wanted the Megaplier, a chance for players to increase their non-jackpot prizes. Projectio

Whats your States record?
What is your States record for a missing digit ? We call these missing digits Stinkers and they start to stink after missing about 10 draws. One good thing. Most of them don't make it past 16 days. Seems 16 is a magic number. Ohio has a real Stinker going......22 draws and no # 3 on their evening draw. oooooh .....what a Stinker! And a opportunity.

who like the cash 5 bonus?
From the way it is worded on the site it seems like we need a record draw first and then they implement the 25 million draw cap. Maybe I don't understand it correctly, but the likely hood of two record draws in a row seems slim? I do understant how you are interpreting it, but it doesn't really say that. And you might be right, because the english language takes a daily beating in my Washington Post. It actually says an increases for each draw of no more than $25 million and that is different

$636 Million Mega Millions jackpot split by 2 tickets
It was pretty close in terms of sales depending on how you looked at it. How do you look at it to make $1 billion over 22 drawings and $1.5 billion over 19 drawings pretty close ? Every single drawing had bigger sales during the record run, with average sales of about $78 million per drawing. For the current run the average is a bit shy of $45.5 million. For the modest jackpots in the first several drawings the record run only saw sales that were about 8 to 25% higher. Once the jackp
