Joining a lottery club?
Okay, so that's the answer. The retailer can print a QP with an annuity but the self service terminals only print CVO.

Joining a lottery club?
Just looked it up. The last time a winner took the annuity payout in Texas Lotto was March 20, 2013.
$4 million.

The ever increasingly inflated jackpot prizes for MM and PB
Good topic, but the superstitious players are loathe to criticize PB and MM deceptive advertising and other shady practices because they think it'll jinx their chance of winning.
Most ticket sales come from the kinda people that don't notice, don't care, gotta play their lucky numbers come he11 or high water. PB could advertise a $19 billion 100-year annuity with only a $50 million cash value and some people would still hawk it as a $19 billion prize, no matter that they ain't got 100

Tennessee puts out first 50 dollar scratch off
Good lord.....They still don't have a $4M winner for the Gigantic Jumbo Bucks (#1891)and thats been out for years.
I started following the $20 game #374 ( $3,000,000 Mega Cash) back in June of 2018. There was finally a grand prize winner last April/May 2022..... Can you imagine how long it is going to take to have a $5 Million dollar winner ???? Noooooooo Thank you Rebecca !!! How about posting the Cash value of the MM and PB and Lotto America games instead of just the Annuity dollar amount

One ticket sold in Maine wins $1.35 billion Mega Millions jackpot
Selling the annuity would only screw you over. It definitely would not be in your favor.
Its always better to take the cash, unless you just have 0 self control, for 2 reasons. You can put the cash in a very conservative investment like a mix of treasury bills and index funds for an average roi of about 5% per year and put it to work through compound interest. 2nd reason is you have no guarantee of future tax rates and they are far more likely to be higher than they are to be lower.

Should You Hire a Money Pro if You Win Millions?
I was trying to think of a way to earn money while getting the team together. Spreading it around isn't worth the hassle.
I would take the annuity and get professionals to help manage it.

Massachusetts man wins six $25,000 a Year for Life prizes in one Lucky for Life drawing
I don't remember what the exact rules say but if you read them they say that up to about twenty tickets can win second prize and then after that they split a fixed non annuity jackpot amount. There is something similar for the top prize.
I am unclear if he bought 6 tickets with the same lucky ball...that isn't too smart because if he got six different lucky balls he would have increased his chances of hitting first prize.
