Is Arizona cursed?
When will Arizona win POWERBALL? I looked at multiple websites and can not find any history on winners in Arizona? Is Powerball new to Arizona? If so, how long and why don't we ever win? I have an office pool going and really started researching lottery stuff and can't seem to come up with anything in Arizona. Granted...we win a lot from Pick 3/5, Cash 4 and scratchers but do I really need to consider moving to another state? Just Kidding!

Connecticut man sues friend for share of lottery prize
You know these kind of stories are always scary to me. I mean, ANYONE could say we had an agreement to split the winnings and I gave so and so xxx amount of dollars .....co-workers, so called friends, family, etc. I mean how does the Lottery Commission handle these types of claims if there is nothing in writing? I always play my own lottery and have never been a part of any pool or anything like that but let's say I happened to win a large amount of money.....who's to say someone couldn't come f

Connecticut man sues friend for share of lottery prize
I can remember seeing the CT Attorney General saying on a tv program (WTIC/61's Behind The Headlines?) last year that there are no lottery contracts (recognized) in Connecticut. I mentioned this to one of my cohorts in the office pool and he doesn't seem too worried about it.
P.S. I happened to buy and hold the tickets to tonight's Powerball drawing!

Connecticut man sues friend for share of lottery prize
This wasn't a pool, players join pools to to reduce the amount they spend on lottery tickets to $5-$10 a week. Usually if a player has $75 a week to spend on lottery tickets he buys his own.
I would think it would be hard to convince a judge or a jury that he actually did that weekly and never expected any feed back from his friend or checked the tickets he bought.

N.J. Lottery to end live broadcast of midday drawing
Whats next Corzine? Only simulcast racing at the meadowlands b/c it's cheaper?? Video slots in the supermarkets??! NJ is such a sess pool of corruption in government that they will resort to anything to screw u out of money! Now we cant really be 100% confident in the pick 3 and pick4 games? Will the jersey cash 5 be next? This absolutely is killing an already low consumer confidence rate. What to go you idiot!!!!

How are jackpots split if 10 people won at a workplace?
Every state is different on this. Some states will issue multiple checks to a pool of winners, and some will only issue one check. My state, Louisiana, will only issue one check.
However, regardless of which state you are in, an IRS form 5754 will have to be completed detailing the names, addresses, and SS numbers of the winners. This is the form if you want to take a look:
http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f5754.pdf
That form has to be filled out so it can be determined how to sp

Discussion: Wheels
How do you create your own wheel and efficent combinations with least number of lines.
There are 462 possible combinations of 5's in a pool of 11 numbers. When you wheel them, you're trying to get the best coverage with a minimum guarantee with the least amount of lines, the bigger the guarantee the more lines you need. To have a guarantee of 5 if any 5 of the numbers hit, you would have to play all 462 possible combinations. You can download a copy of CoverMaster from Lotto-Logix, BobP's web
