Oregon Megabucks 2021
Well I had 12 lines of tickets tonight for Oregon Megabucks and only had three lines with one number so no prize tonight. I am a little bit pissed at Oregon Megabucks because I could not manage even a free ticket tonight. I will post the jackpot rolls for awhile this year but I am going to focus on Mega Millions and Powerball until someone wins them two jackpots. I will then go back to Oregon Megabucks if no one has not won it bye then and play that low level fruit from the lotto tree here in Or

Current Jackpots...
Ah, this explains it...... The specific question to look for on the FAQ page there is Why is the cash option always a different percentage of the annuity from draw to draw? Thank you kind sir.

$32.25 million Lotto Texas jackpot is currently the largest in the USA
but it is also the second-largest jackpot in the world behind the 85 million (US$ 93.71 million) Euro Millions prize. They didn't look very hard.. The New Zealand lottery (Powerball) was a must win NZ$50 million on Saturday (15 Aug 2020) That equates (using https://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/convert/?From=NZD To=USD Amount=50000000.00 ) 50,000,000 NZD = 32,703,038.5 USD Mid-market rate 1 NZD = 0.65406 USD US$32.70 million US$32.35 million And that is the full

Lump Sum Or Annuity? :)
I would take the annuity option. This is after I have the winnings placed in a Trust so it can collect the payment over a 20 year period. The annual payment would allow me to invest the cash in blue chip stocks. By the time when I receive the last instalment the $4 Million Jackpot would be worth around $60 Million(divdends reinvested). The Jackpot is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Why blow it on things that will be a liability, like having multiple houses and cars?

Texas Lotto, June 13
It's a nice jackpot. But it's rolled 42 times to get there. Starts at $5 million annuity, and around $3.8 million cash. Odds are 1 in 25,827,165. By comparison, MM and PB second prize odds are less than half of Tx Lotto. Of course, cost is $2 and it's only $1 million.

One Arizona lottery ticket wins $410 million Mega Millions jackpot
I know there's a lot of complaining about the $20 million starting point (actually, who really plays for the annuity?) and maybe for some people, that's just not enough money to get them through life. But, geez, I can make it just fine on that amount. Trading $2 for $20 million? Yeah. I've been playing various jackpot lotteries for decades, no point in quitting now. And yes. I would believe the winner is pretty happy.

Wisconsin Mega Bucks
I really don't remember playing MegaSucks, maybe I did once or twice in the past. Went to the website, its a 1 million dollar annuity or a 400K cash jackpot. Out of that 400K they take about 30% State and Federal, so if you hit the jackpot, after is all is said and done, you walk away with 280K. Not bad for a reported 1 million dollar jackpot huh? At least with SuperCrap 350K jackpot = 350K, minus tax which probably equals around 245K cash take home.

Texas Lottery to reopen claims centers June 1
KY has been doing this for weeks, though we're much smaller. Lexington claims office closed. Did I read the paragraph right about claiming prizes? It said the big guys, Lotto Texas, MM PB are all paid out in annuity??? Maybe I misconstrued the paragraph?

Louisiana public education takes a toll from decreased lottery proceeds
With stay at home orders in just about every state, it should be obvious lottery sales would suffer and so will the people expecting to benefit from huge lottery profits. Can't figure out why anyone blames PB and MM for rearranging their projected annuity jackpots especially here on LP where people should know the huge percentage of jackpot winners take the cash. Can't remember the last time a jackpot winner took the payments.
