The squabble is about the better pick3 system, so there is no jackpot winner. With pick3 there are only 1000 possible combinations and if you consider the box form of each combinations there are only 220 possible combinations. With a list of 50 numbers, one or two hits per week per state is expected and if you are looking at all the daily drawings all over the country then five to ten hits a day is expected. If you buy Quick-Pick selections then there is really no reason to post them as predictions. I assume that people who post predictions have studied the history of previous drawings of a lottery, noticed a pattern and are giving their best guess at what the next winning numbers will look like. So far, no one has come close with a jackpot game, so very few even try. Hopefully someday someone at this forum will win a big jackpot and the bragging rights on how to pick a winning combination. In the Ohio649P lottery I noticed that 58% of the winnings combinations were within perimeters that covered 55% of the 13,983,816 possible combinations, it that kind of edge that the system player is looking for to increase his chance of a win. Remember Brad,That odds of 1:3.5 can be deceptive because it includes free tickets. For example in the Ohio649P had odds of 1:451 of winning a prize when they paid a prize for matching three numbers plus the bonus ball or better. Then they changed the rule so that matching three numbers only would get you a free QP ticket with annunity pay only, and changed the odds of winning a prize to 1:54. You can add to the fact that the jackpot is $29M that the cash value is more than the odds of winning the jackpot with a dollar. The odds of winning is 1:14M and the cash value is $14.5M. This is the point where players and lottery pools that prefer to spend a hundred dollars or more will buy a few tickets. I will be surprised if the jackpot is not won within the next two draws.Ohio wants to change the game so it can attract more players without offering a large jackpot, maybe put a $5M cap

Rebeckah,There are lots of Texas players here, but not a lot of postings by any State in the jackpot sections. The pick 3 4 sections are more active. Not too many people like to post and come up losers all the time.
