I would love to know what system the couriers use to play every combo for the larger jackpots period. They have every right to play the lottery as everyone else has. Texas would just defund the state lottery and then use a private company aka Powerball, Mega Millions companies to build and run the business. This would make wining harder for ever day players and harder for courier companies. This is what states use now to ensure the least pick numbers come out per drawings on the smaller jackpot

I have read it on md lotterys website. Doesn't seem so much greater. Raised the price. And forced multiplier. And a rng bonus. I'm sure that's going to come out lot. Probably once every couple of months. Jackpots used to start at 40 at 2 dollars a ticket before covid I could be wrong . But anyways I see it as a ripoff. And that's just opinion. I feel the comparison is relevant. Powerball was ahead when it had 3 draws per week and Mega Millions tickets were $2. But now that Mega Millions tickets are $5, Mega Millions appears to be ahead. But it is still too early to declare the definite winner in the race for the fastest growing jackpots.

For Mega last night 4/11 there were 5,257,815 tickets sold. So about half as many tickets are being sold but at $5 instead of $2 they are bringing in a couple million $ than before the increase. Doesn't look like people are changing their budgets. my guess is the regular players will stay in with their previous budgets and people that stay on the sidelines will come in at 600 or 700M jackpots instead of the 300 or 400. Funny how they're already preparing us for an eventual reduction of the $50 mil- new draw figure. Maybe there won't be the $$$ invested by players to provide for that amount but it would be more than made up for on the other mania end when these jackpots grow to astonishing levels. It will be wild if most players move their mega budgets to powerball and pb starts getting huge jackpots faster while mm grows at a snails pace. i think mega may have made a mistake with this, the price of everything is going up many people aren't going to double what they're spending for non essential.
