rebecca paul needs to be fired
Have you honestly gotten your information about her from this post or some other area Guru? She didn't have to do anything personally , she is the head of the Lottery, so SHE and she alone are responsible for her actions not someone else.
SHE wasn't doing her job, as to oversee what is going on, she's responsible . No one is taking away her income except herself, and she's doing that by being incompetent .! She's taking away from the education system by having a $90,000 audit for absolutel

rebecca paul needs to be fired
And that is the risk you take when getting a position in an organization, be it high or low. If you don't want to risk being fired, go into business for yourself. We're talking here about where the ultimate responsibility falls in an organization. And it falls on the shoulders of the highest management in that organization. We have become too wimpy and also conniving as a society. Today, CEOs that are heads of companies that are nearing collapse are being given million dollar bonuses while

Tenn. players picked up on new odds before lottery revealed glitch
You're right, lottoscorp; they're doing some major damage control. I'm afraid most of it is geared toward the fraud issue, though. If fraud is discovered to be the cause behind the glitch in the Tennessee Lottery, the resulting reverberations would cast suspicion on all remaining RNG states, and the players in those states would begin demanding investigations of their own lotteries when their tickets missed by one digit.
Whether or not they're run in an honest and forthright manner, s

Employee hacks into online poker site
As in a lot of companies and the current political climate, unless your giving me information that fits what I want to hear don't say it. In other words do not give me bad news, if you do your fired.
There's a good movie called The Billion Dollar Bubble that shows exactly what happens when you can only bring good news to the boss. It was made in 1976 and is still relevant today. It should be shown in all business colleges across the country.

Tennessee couple accused of stealing thousands of lottery tickets
A woman who lives down the street from me worked at 7-11 for 6 months. She was fired for stealing lottery tickets, although she denies it. Maybe these people don't consider taking lottery tickets as stealing. I've met people who commit insurance fraud, cheat on their taxes, collect unemployment for months without looking for work, etc., and don't consider that stealing either.
By the way, saying it's because they are clerks is ridiculous. That's like saying people who drive have the mo

what kind of gun would you buy if you won the lottery?
LottoMike. I respect your thoughts about not having a gun in and around kids. However, I want to say that I have a 9mm semi auto in my bedroom and a .40 cal Glock in my office. I do not worry about my kids grabbing the weapons since I have taught them at 3 years old what a gun can do and what will happen if they play or try to play with them.
It is one thing for a watergun that the wife gave them for a toy to be used, but to make the point more dramatic, I took them out to woods and took

Wonder where the other half of 390 mill is?

I once had a financial advisor who got very upset with me for selling Lucent stock at $100/share. He carried on and stamped his feet but I insisted on selling the stock any way. He said there was at least $20/share more in the stock and I was being an idiot. (Yes, I fired him.) Guess what? Within one year the stock was under $5/share.
If your profile didn't indicate you live in NJ, I'd guess we had the same financial advisor.

a rumor...don imus to join a state lottery for work
I dont think Imus should of been fired. There are people who
have done and said worse than what he did. And nothing ever
happened to them. And now there saying there still not done
with him.

a rumor...don imus to join a state lottery for work
Oh, I agree that many people enjoy working. No argument here. I always plan to be active, but I certainly want to be doing something I like. Sometimes one's celebrity status gives him the opportunity to do a lot of good, not only with the money that he or she earns, but with the name recognition. That wasn't my point at all. I was responding to all the discussions about Mr. Imus being fired and how his livelihood is being taken away.
There are all kinds of personalities, and people do t
