I mailed my winning tickets to the Arizona lottery and today I got a check from them. I had asked if they could send me some Powerball tickets in lieu of the money, but looks like that is not possible. Thank you Arizona Lottery.

I played a few here and there but much less than when I used to when it was $2. I have won nothing whereas at least I get the $4 on the Powerball for getting the ball

My first choice is Powerball, but only when the jackpot is truly outrageous - 500-750 Mil cash value or more. The way it is moving up now it is just about time to jump in for the big one - only a few more draws to go before it hits my target I think. My second choice is the Rolling Cash 5 5/39 game in Ohio. We only have jackpot games, Tattslotto 6/45, Oz Lotto 7/47 and Powerball (7/35 + 1/20). There's no pick 3 anywhere in Australia except WA so that rules it out for most of us. I don't even bother to include Set For Life as it is too expensive and tickets are for 7 draws instead of just one.

I totally agree that it's people who make things a headache. If I were to win something like Powerball, the majority would go into laddered treasury bills, with some in an S P 500 index fund. The last thing I would do is start my own business or invest in any sort of risky business venture. People go broke because they think this sudden windfall of money has given them some sort of insight on how to invest, start or run a business.
