Beware/Arguments=Viruses
Now that you mention it, I have noticed that a lot of pick3 predictors in a lot forums list a lot of numbers hoping they will hit somewhere in the U.S. If you consider any mixture of the combinations a hit (boxed) then the odds of a hit is 1:220 or better, and it you have twenty numbers that cut the odd to 1:11 of one of those numbers hitting in a single drawing and when you add the fact that there are more than 40 pick3 drawing daily the odds becomes 4:1 or better. To Jade,The 26 even numbers included both sets of 52 numbers, so the 26 numbers would include both the combinations and the Mega balls. It hard to find a set that has more hits than the even numbers. I found a set that had more hits at the higher end, but fewer hits overall. They are: 02 04 06 09 10 13 14 18 21 22 24 25 27 29 31 32 35 39 40 41 42 44 45 49 51 52. RJOh,I rechecked my data and compaired it with the Mega Millions site.The first release was pick 5 of 50 pick 1 of 25 from 1996-09-06 to 1999-01-01, 169 draws.The second release was pick 5 of 50 pick 1 of 36 from 1999-01-15 to 2002-05-14, 348 draws.The third release is pick 5 of 52 pick 1 of 52 from 2002-05-17 to 2003-01-10, 69 draws.169 + 348 + 69 = 586 draws totalYour question, Do you have any way to find the most productive group of 26 numbers in just the Megamillions drawings? To Bug,It's always nice to get something back, even if it is less than I spent, it just nicer to get more. When I code my ideas is GWBasic, I alway code a way to change the variables or data as the program runs. As far as looking at those even numbers, I'm always looking for a smaller and more productive group of numbers. Powerball, all even numbers
When you think about it, when you ask the question 'have there ever been an occassion when all six numbers were even ', you are really asking 'have there ever been an occassion when all six numbers were in a group of 26 numbers'. With any group that large, you should find a few that are totally within those parameters. Mega Millions and Powerball Synchronized
I think the Powerball jackpot will continue to climb faster than the Megamillions jackpot helped by the annuity length, but also aided by the fact that the chances of winning a prize is better. When ever I've gone to Indiana to play the Powerball and talked to Ohio players who live near the boarder they say they prefer to play Powerball unless the jackpot of the Megamillion is over 100M.
