Cash option--who wants to deal with the tax issues every single year--and as taxes increase--your income would reduce. Supposed to be a lottery not a losery!

My biggest fear if PB does expand to other countries is that the matrix will change again. Look up other countries lotteries and might make one cringe. Out with the five #'s and PB...probably increase to seven. If that is the case it might be the end of my playing. Of course you guys remember me saying with the new Covid PB/MM changes I said I'd stop and didn't.

Nailed it. His trade secret is buying lots of tickets. No doubt it's a good strategy to increase your odds of winning but it takes no great mathematical skill to buy 25 lines instead of 2. A lot of big winners are big spenders. I'ts more like the recipe for ice than for Coca Cola.

It looks like ticket sales will create a better than 50% chance of a winning ticket being sold somewhere. It's not a must win situation like in January 2016, but close. It's highly likely just like PB on Wednesday there will be only one winning ticket. The timing might be right for the MUSL people to discuss placing a jackpot limit on one of the games and increase the secondary prize amounts until the jackpot is won. Similar to the Cash Win Fall games in Massachusetts and Michigan.

I don't like the increase because I don't spend a lot. If the jackpots were twice as big I wouldn't mind paying twice the price, but that don't seem to be the case.

Calculating the cash value as a fraction of the annuity is like a dog chasing its tail. It's the cash value that the lottery starts with, and then it calculates the annuity based on prevailing interest rates. If you simply look at the increase in cash value and ignore the annuity you will have a much better sense of how fast the jackpot is growing.
