Ontario Lottery may ban retailers from buying tickets from own stores
I don't see the point of merchants punching in their PIN before buying personal tickets. They don't make regular customers use PINs,do they? The lottery machines don't have anything to do with picking the numbers so their isn't any way that merchants could have a bearing on the outcome of the drawings. If a merchant wins a lottery,he did it the same way that everyone else does...with a healthy dose of LUCK!
I also don't see the point of buying their tickets from other merchants. What if they live

Lottery winner buys spectacular wilderness area
My lord, how did we go from reading about a man's good fortune to a debate regarding which country is colder!! Parts of Canada can get cold, like the earlier post stated, so cold that the lakes freeze and they use it for ICE ROAD TRUCKERS to transport supplies to a working mine. For people that don't like the freezing cold climate, once the lake unthaw, i am sure that it is a beautiful place to be!!
ON the lighter side, lets celebrate this young man's good fortune. And maybe continue

W.C. store owner claims Lotto 6/49 jackpot
Lottery conducts 'mandatory investigation'
Many store owners dream of making a lot of money with their business.
Blair Knutson did it the unconventional way he bought a Lotto 6/49 ticket from the grocery store he owns in Gimli, Man.
The purchase made the owner of G C Grocery $16 million richer.
In case that raised any eyebrows, officials with the Western Canada Lottery Corp. quickly announced they have conducted a mandatory investigation and have determined Knutson is the rightfu

CORPORATE Lottery
I discarded my vote ... on the premise that the best way to run a lottery is to have the direct state run the lottery themselves, as they do in Canada. If they did, by not running with private operators or outside groups, then the state could technically run tax free games. Since lotteries began here in Ontario in 1975, over 23 billion dollars has been generated for sports, culture, recreation, hospitals, culture and learning. More money can be pumped into towns, villages, and projects. No
