Format for the Ideal Lottery Pool
I'll make this quick and easy...
1. minimum jackpot = 15 million (so every play is fair game)
2. 1 or 2 (1 = myself; 2 = my brother and I)
3. at least a dollar for every draw (it only takes 1 to win)
4. no (I don't play for 2nd or worse place; I play to win; but I do like the Florida lottery's increase the jackpot concept which I would buy whenever I visit Florida and play the Florida lottery)
5. more than 2 is too much; can never have a pool with too few people as the problem typ

Lp Members Will Automatically Share w/each other!
Hey AAAOK,
Did you set up your pool for a certain period of time? I mean is it a constant thing? Usually pools are change every week. right? The same people in one week are not always the same people the next. Maybe you could just desolve it? And start another anonymous private 4 or 5 exclusive member group?

Tax office workers win Powerball lottery jackpot
i agree with above....pool rules should be simple to follow and also common sense...in my office we have a sign up sheet that includes the people who contributed and amount...everyone contributes same amount in to buying tickets, winnings for that draw get divided equally among participating members for that draw and if winnings are below $150 they go into next pot for buying tickets...we give everyone a photo copy of all tickets for them to check before draw.....in this case the 8 winning memeb

Tax office workers win Powerball lottery jackpot
I'm surprised that was even mentioned to the press. Just by implying the 3 other women deserve a portion of the winnings is tantamount to admitting they should share in the pool. I think it would be very nice if each of the winners gave them a large gift, but that's totally separate.

$275M Powerball lottery jackpot goes to W. Virginia player
Okay, I'll go ahead and say it...it truly is bad that I didn't win that jackpot. And it really blows that an office pool won. I like stories of a single winner winning that kind of a big jackpot...makes for a more interesting story whether that person will squander the winnings or invest and spend wisely. I could care less about how a person is going to spoil their children and grandchildren. Who cares about the kind of toy you'll buy. Just be quiet and enjoy your winnings in peace. Don't wave t

Mega Million For Friday set of numbers.
Funny thing for the 2-29 draw used a 25 # wheel with 13 lines to play. Picked 4 of the mm #s had 3 #s on 2 lines. Used the last 50 draws as a pool to find the #s that have been picked the most as winning #s. Doing the same thing for pb cost is $26 per week for 2 draws each game. Total cost is $52 per week, will play the same for 12 weeks and than update with 50 new draws. God bless and good luck to all.

Can My Comapny Sue us For the Winnings?
Re: scanning tickets
Are you scanning tickets and emailing them to people out of state? If so, is this legal? Good question! You can't use the mail to buy tickets for and accept money from people across state lines, but can you use email? Then is the contract binding? Many years ago I belonged to a company pool in Chicago and I lived in NH. I never thought about it.
