Play4/Pick4 Doubles:
Any feedback to this methods of filtering is most welcomed:
As many of you know that doubles come out more often than singles and ddoubles, triples and quads. From my past experience the ratio for doubles compares to singles is just about 2.6 to 1.
Therefore the following methods is to show how to pick your double number when you feel that is coming or due:
Method 1: Select 6 numbers from pool of 10 (0 .. 9: four of these number that you think are cold or that wont come so you do

small multi line lottos
KY Floyd makes a point. I picked up a playslip, and their example does include some repeats from line to line. You choose 5 numbers, and the machine gives you 2 more lines of 5 numbers (total of 10) out of a pool of 50, here. I think I'll stick with the regular pick 5 lotto powerball.
Not being able to pick your own numbers - might as well just say Stick 'em up!

Frustrated
RJOh, I agree, so then I wonder if it's because the odds are so great or the Lottery checks eliminates them during a pre-test and only televises what they want us to see.
I can't speak for the lotteries, but speaking for myself I always check the combinations I play and if they've been within one number of winning a jackpot in the past, they are discarded. The only game I wouldn't do that in is West Virgina Cash25, five of six repeat quite often in that game because there are only 25 num

More than $240 million unclaimed by lottery winners
I agree that this would be nice, Mike. However, a state lottery can't just change a rule like that. A new law would have to be introduced, voted on and passed. At least this is my understanding but if I am wrong, perhaps someone else can correct me. In Florida Florida law requires that 80 percent of unclaimed prize funds from expired tickets be transferred directly to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund. The remaining 20 percent is returned to the prize pool from which future prizes are

looking for a math formula
C(20,70) = 1.618846036626579D+17 It's approximately 161,884,603,662,658,000. You use the same formula that you use to calculate the number of smaller combinations within a pool of numbers but you will get the scientific notation when using your computer if the program can't handle more than 16 digits.
You might get more accuracy if you used a program designed to calculate keno odds or a scientific calculator.

Quick Picks can't match the power of Self Picks
there are 299,398,484 people in the u.s.
the odds of winning the powerball are 1 in 146,107,962
if you notice, the odds are about half the population.
that means if every person in the u.s.bought one powerball ticket.
only 2 people would win.and they would split the 15 million prize.
my pool will covor all 42 powerball numbers each drawing.
twice a week 52 weeks a year.to buy more tickets would be a waste.
not to covor each powerball number would be a waste.

Wheel Generator 1.5
Wheels that contain all the winning numbers are generally too big to be affordable. What's needed is software to analyze lotteries past results and come up with some statistics that aids one in picking a pool of 15 numbers or so that have all the winning numbers 70% of the time or more.
I doubt if that will ever happen because that's better than those services selling groups of numbers claiming they contains all the winning numbers most of the time.

Gail Howards free tips
I think those tips are suggesting not playing numbers that have hit in the previous 5 drawings, however if you're playing a game like WVA Cash25 which only have a pool of 25 numbers for combinations of sixes, it's likely that would include all 25 numbers.
Those tips might be more helpful if you're playing PB and MM which have number pools of 55 and 56. In the last 200 drawings for those games 10% and 8.5% of the winning combinations had no numbers from the previous 5 drawings and by eliminati

Office lottery pool wins $61.5M Powerball jackpot
I'm very happy for the NuKote22 ladies. It was so much fun to watch Louisville TV news coverage about their win.
I wish I could get in on a good pool like that. Congratulations to the winners!

How about the Stave Player Sytem?
I believe as you say Steve Player is now the name of the company, but back in the 80's he was real enough to share in a New York lottery jackpot prize in a office pool play. There was a sort of shifting back and forth where others had some of the publishing rights, then he tried to come back. Lon of the old Lottonet and I did some web site work for him and felt we were dealing with him not a company at the time, in part it was funny because he always talked about super computerized number crun
