$625 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot soars on rollover
The jackpots may be larger these days but even winning a couple of bucks is rare for me. It was those small wins that kept me playing regularly. I found the time it took for last Oct.'s super jackpot win annoying. Apparently, a lot of people did, too, since sales dropped off dramatically. I use to enjoy rollovers, now I just want it to be over. We cant all be Mavis. I wonder if she got back together with her ex-bf?

$550 MILLION: Red hot Powerball jackpot rolls again
By Todd Northrop
This week Powerball is the hot ticket, featuring a jackpot payout of more than a half-billion dollars.
The new high-water mark of $550 million for the current Powerball annuity jackpot estimate was achieved after no winning tickets were sold for Saturday night's $492.1 million grand prize. The new jackpot stands as the 11th-largest ever recorded in United States lottery history. (See top 25 annuity and cash values below.)
The lump-sum cash payout value of Wednesday's Po

$495 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot climbs, awaits its first winner of 2019
By Todd Northrop
Two and a half months into 2019, we still don't have a Powerball jackpot winner.
But it's not for a lack of trying: The multi-state lottery game now features a jackpot worth a half-billion dollars.
The last person to win the game was David Johnson, a Brooklyn, New York truck driver, who claimed a $298.3 million jackpot from the Dec. 26, 2018 drawing.
After that drawing, the Powerball jackpot reset to $40 million and continued to rollover for 22 consecutive drawings,

Michigan woman dreamed of $4M lottery win — then it happened
She was a news spot here on a Fresno, CA tv broadcast. Not worry about money for the rest of her life . That is what us lottery dreamers play for. PB could be our ticket to freedom this week.
When do you think Todd will write his Top 25 jackpots?

Winner of $1.5 billion Mega Millions jackpot has come forward
Lol. It was JJ. He is so used to winning jackpots, he could hardly bear to claim another jp win.
I really think the delay was due to children (quietly moving and changing schools) or career obligations.

Michigan woman wins 3 large Keno prizes on same day
Does anyone know if this lady in MI is a member of LP.. as I would love to talk Keno with her as I now she wheeled those numbers on those tickets to win her jackpots and would be curious as to what wheeling programs or SW she may have used.

Brooklyn truck driver quits job, comes forward as $298M Powerball winner
CT- The way these jackpots are won, anything is possible.
Just consider this for a nano second, Mr Johnson crosses the road, puts down $5.00 bags Millions, next thing, reading that we have winners in Puerto Rico, an Island. Then consider how many lottery pools are collecting hundreds of dollars twice a week coming up empty. So, an off shore rig winner, is not an impossibility. Remember that winner from Iraq, that won an American lottery game played out of Oregon?

Florida lottery to roll out new game
Why is everyone so excited? This game is three times harder to win than Lucky Money was (more on the FL Lottery's distorted oddsmaking logic in a minute). First you have to understand why they couldn't end the Lucky Money game fast enough- they were losing money on more than half of the jackpots over the last two years. A quick look at the official game rules to find out the takeout percentages made it easy for me to figure out - because the jackpot started at $500,000- that a $1,000,000 dollar

Did Mega Millions take Powerball's crown?
They just look at the numbers glowing on the lottery signage and the buy the one that has the higher number.
I'd think that would often be true, but it isn't what has happened after the two big jackpots were won at the end of October. For 10/30 and 10/31 MM was $45 million and PB was $40 million. Despite the $5 million advantage MM increased to $52 million while PB increased to $53 million. Although MM was offering an extra $5 million it increased by just slightly more than half of PB's inc
