$1.537 billion Mega Millions jackpot won by 1 ticket sold in South Carolina
If not I hope this individual is smart and prepared.
Actually being smart and prepared has nothing to do about winning a jackpot because lots of dumb and unprepared people have won jackpots.

It's kind of hard to answer your reply for 3 reasons.
1.) I didnt say that being forced to disclose your name would make non-regular players MORE likely to play.
2.) There's no reason to comment It's not rigged since I didn't suggest it was nor did I ask if people thought it was
3.) My question is one where you have to step away from what you know and how you feel about the games.
Ok let me break down my original comment. When the lottery gets really high we need people who don't u

Mega Millions sets world record with $1.6 billion lottery jackpot for Tuesday drawing
I know it's absolutely illogical for me to be disappointed in a 1.6 billion dollar jackpot, and yet, I am. Either they over exaggerated the anticipated sales, or ticket sales fell way off. I would have expected it to be impossible not to see a bump at this stage. Did people run out of discretionary funds in the earlier rounds? Are more people understanding the odds? We've seen numerous bumps for jackpots that were much smaller. Something seems off. As is the apparent level of excitement this go

You just won a huge lottery jackpot! Now what?
I always run a spreadsheet on current jackpots. Just have to change a few numbers and the rest auto calculates. I know myself, so I know I must have a plan.
Don't want to be Jack Whittaker or David Lee Edwards.

893.35 QUADRILLION TO one. That s the likelihood of what s happened to 20-year-old Dylan McWilliams. He was bitten by a shark, attacked by a bear, and bitten by a rattlesnake all in just over three years.
The odds to win both jackpots is 1 in 88 trillion.

Powerball joins lottery frenzy with $620 million jackpot
Why is the jackpot bigger on some of the jackpots and yet the cash payouts are smaller than other payouts?

$1 BILLION MEGA MILLIONS LOTTERY DRAWING TONIGHT
KYFLOYD, good point! I am thinking the jackpot surpassed $1.0B yesterday? Maybe it went to $1.1B? Anyway to find that info out?
I think with both jackpots in the TOP 6 of all time (if PB rolls tonight), the LOTTERY FRENZY will hit critical mass! $1.6B is very possible and could go higher.

$1 BILLION MEGA MILLIONS LOTTERY DRAWING TONIGHT
I will admit I have not bought any lottery tickets and will not.
It is because everytime I hear about the MM or PB all I can think about is how eddie tipton rigged jackpots and that alone has put me off of ever buying any ever.

$1 BILLION MEGA MILLIONS LOTTERY DRAWING TONIGHT
I'd agree with you if the state lotteries hadn't exaggerated all the annuity based jackpots for years. But they did and were stuck watching a jackpot winner holding an over-sized check with an amount they will never get. Both the cash winners and the annuity winner know how much they took home after taxes.
In the last couple of years I've noticed more players are talking about the size of the cash option so not all players rely on the size of the advertised jackpot value.
