Can the retailer screw up you winning?
Most people in FL don't either, but you can. The situation I wrote about in my last post is not uncommon. I once stood behind a man who was buying 100 tickets for a pool and they were all personal numbers, but some had only 5 numbers checked and some had 7. So then the clerk had to ask what number to add to the ones that didn't have 6 numbers and what one to erase on the onces that had too many. This was at a 7-11, a very busy store near the beach, and I'm surprised the clerk was being so helpf

Playing lottery alone?
Before I retired I figured my co-workers showed up for the same reason I did, to collect a pay check, not because they wanted to work with me. If they had a lottery pool or a social group that was limited to just their friends, it was fine with me. Actually there was several lottery pools around work, some just when the jackpots got big and others a group of friends that play every draw regardless of the jackpot size. I'm sure if any one of them had won a jackpot everyone else would have felt

Powerball jackpot jumps to $135 million
AMEN TO TODD!!!!! I came in just to get caught up on any gossip for week's MM and PB and I too play both. I run a pool here at work there are 5 of us! We call ourselves Lucky G's 5! And I LOVE the multiplier! That is one thing that I can say that I love more about PB. We play the kicker each and every drawing in the Mega's and in 6 months we have won $10.00, we played the PB Power Play and the 1st time won $50.00!!! And have always gotten a benefit from playing it since! I think that the kicker

probability of euromillions rollover
Euro Millions rolled over to 75M ( 52M/$91M) jackpot for the 3/31 drawing. In the last drawing, the amount of jackpot determined was 65.5M ( 45.2M/$79M) and the overall European sales 93.2M. Based on the increase in the jackpot pool, I figure that Euro Millions estimates the total sales for this Friday drawing being approximately 91M, which would be equal to 45.5 million tickets. If, as such, 45.5 million tickets are sold, the probability of EM rolling over would be 55%. The following tab
