Yes, and maybe one gigantic powerball pool! Then we can all take home about $100 bucks after we all relish in the fact that we finally hit the jackpot....all together! I would say only about 100 people would show, if that. That would be good for about $500,000 out of a $50 million dollar jackpot after taxes. Not bad. We could all invest $100 in tickets for 10,000 tickets I think. Eyes would be burning after checking that many lines.

Florida Lotto jackpot rolls to $10 million
Gosh! I'm already here. Maybe I should start a pool.
Now if I can just get past all the traffic and make it to the store in 3 hours, I can buy a ticket!

probability of euromillions rollover
Euro Millions rolled to 51M jackpot for this coming 3/17 drawing. For the latest drawing, the amount of jackpot determined was 38.2M ( 26.4M/$46M). And, the overall European sales were 84M. Based on the increase in the jackpot pool, I figure out that Euro Millions expects the total sales being approximately 116M, which would be equal to 58 million tickets (please see the note in the botteom).
Assuming that 58 million tickets would be sold, the probability of EM to roll over on 3/17 is 47%

Would u try to remain anonymous?
I'm wondering, especially since we play with other people, not a pool but it would be a four or five way aplit, if you could have an attorney or finanacial planner draw up a Lotto Group , and then if the info. had to be made public it would read something like, The Lottery Post Lotto Group won the jackpot.
There's a book (out of print, I think), What to do When You Hit the Lotto, it mentioned something like that.

Mega Millions lottery jackpot up-sized to $267 million
Mega Millions sales have once again outpaced the forecast of Mega Millions officials, prompting them to increase tonight's lottery jackpot from $256 million to $267 million.
The new cash option is $159 million.
The drawing for the $269 million Mega Millions drawing is tonight at 11:00 PM Eastern Standard time.
5 white numbered balls will be drawn from a pool of 56, and one Mega Ball will be drawn from a separate pool of 46 gold numbered balls.
Players can win the jackpot by matching

Probability of a Rollover in Powerball.
There is a chance that if Powerball sets a new record jackpot, it will land between $365 million and $390 million, in which case there's no match 5 bonus pool, but the cap increases.
What I do not understand is why sales increase on runs following very large jackpots. All those rollovers just show how hard the game is to win. You'd think sales would increase on runs following smaller jackpot wins, but as evidenced by last year, that is not the case - after Powerball's lucky string of eight

jackpot lottery pool
If a pool has a lot of money to spend on a single drawing, such as 300 dollars or more, I think one can see that the task of selecting the numbers to play and coding them on the playslips could be a very daunting chore. I'm not even sure that my local outlet has the number of payslips to accomodate that many plays. Perhaps some of the state lotteries should set up a special place on their site for clubs to register and enter their orders electronically. Otherwise it's much easier to use the q

If you are going to buy 46+ tickets.....
Not everyone who buy 46+ tickets have the same strategy. Some might buy all the megaballs hoping to match one or more of the other five numbers with the winning megaball. Others might buy only the hot megaballs several time and hope to get lucky and match the megaball with some of the other numbers several times, for them gambling $46 for a chance to win $4+ is a better deal than spending $46 for a guarantee $2. And then there are those who buy 46+ QP tickets just to improve their odds of win

What does a Winning formula require?
Hello,
Many systems could be considered Winning formulas as most of them can consistently beat the odds. The problem is these systems have not yet beaten the odds to the point where they would be profitable or pratical.
Current systems that are publicly available seem to elimiate too many possible comblinations therefore they eliminate the winner,or they generate so may possible combinations its is not profitable or pratical to play them all.
One system I have been testing is MDI

Hail To The * Workers
A hint it was a pool, was the rapid claim of the money. One of them, or a family member, or a friend of a friend, or boyfriend of a daughter would have spilled the beans in another day or two. As soon as some one was made about a slice of meat, or having to work too hard, and the truth would have been thrown at the offending person. One person would have a hard time keeping their mouth shut, let alone a hundred people. Another reason to go it alone. If you want to wait, unlike me, win a zil
