I was really hoping for a bump before tonight's drawing. If it rolls, then before Sat. However, the increase of $80 mil from tonight's drawing to Sat's drawing if it rolls is pretty durn big. Then again, why not??

I had to research some of the different articles related to the price increase. Finally one state said the same thing that Kingofearth says. Also mentioned the odds are winning the jackpot are decreasing, that is not good news.

Yep. Starting in October the Minimum jackpot for MM will be $40 Million and each rollover will have a Minimum increase of $15 Million.

That along with a higher matrix to drive prizes higher have created substantial jackpot fatigue. State coffers are demanding more money which as stated above lowers % prize pool creating less incentive to play in the first place.. States legislators need to realize to get the population to spend more they increase lower end payouts.
