I am CONVINCED only way you WIN BIG if they let you win!
on a regular I don't think they will let just anyone win the pb, mm, at this point so its just a waste of money playing and playing $$$ for those games. After they reach a certain amount keeping winners from jackpots then they will allow someone to win it and repeat that cycle and chances are it's someone involved with the lottery a fall guy for a super higher jackpot not just anyone! I honestly believe I won over the years with my predictions but they prevented me each time and GOD will be able

SC Lottery not paying winnings on game because of 'programming error'
Wow! Firstly, the potential prize liability is 3X what I thought it would be. Secondly, for the SC Lottery to set aside nearly $20 million strongly suggests they're intending to payout. SC Lottery is going to let this ride a bit to see which way the winds blow. My guess is in the end, they'll payout to put the incident behind them. Also, the positive PR of paying out could offset some of the $19.6 million loss, especially with both Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots currently being relative

Final 2017 MM and/or PB jackpot?
Yes on waiting until the start of 2018............ Because, we( in Texas) officially can claim anything at $1 Million and above anonymously after JAN 1st,2018. They did leave a slight snag in the new rules. If you claim the big jackpots(PB/MM/TX Lotto) via installments, then after 30 days the lottery can release your name..... Taking the cash, claiming anonymously and then becoming mobile to parts unknown

How will the new tax bill effect lottery winnings?
I agree with your comments Think. A winner can afford all the professionals that are required. Not hiring help is a common mistake of past winners who blew through their jackpots.

Russian retiree wins country's biggest lottery jackpot ever
Some U.S. lottery official out there is probably thinking rubles, pesos, yen, etc is another way to make jackpots look deceptively bigger. Mega Millions 6.3 billion rubles; Powerball 8 billion rubles. Seems like so much more. Extend out the annuity from 30 years to 40 years and it gets even bigger yet. $8.5 million USD, even if it's an annuity and less taxes (article doesn't say), is still a great win. Hope it all works out for them.

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
This is a reasonable method that I've also employed. The two issues I've come across: Towards a game getting over 70% sold the lottery tends to slow out distributing books (if they do at all) and then start sneakily pulling back books to make room for other games, with most of the books getting pulled likely in the target zone. Once the FL claims them, who knows if they'll ever make it back out to an AK Kwik or if they just start disposing of them. This is why the book numbers theory migh

A call to boycott Mega Millions loto game.
I'm just playing PB along with Texas Lotto and Texas 2 Step. Not playing MM. If MM's jackpot is higher than PB, then I play that one. I play PB and or MM with the idea of hitting second prize. It's much better odds than my state's lotto odds, which is over 1 in 25 million. Granted, Texas Lotto's jackpot is over 13 million, but a million sets me up to retire. The only way second prize goes para-mutuel is if there are so many second prize winners that there aren't enough sales to fund the prize

A call to boycott Mega Millions loto game.
Those lottery people are playing us for saps. Who needs two powerball type games? Personally I don't care if the jackpot hits a trillion bucks, I'm done. They increased the odds next to impossible and doubled the price of a ticket. Do I have stupid written across my forehead? NOT! Lots of other games out there with million dollar jackpots and lower odds of winning. Have to ask yourself, how much money do you really need? OK I'm done.

Bigger MM and PB Jackpots.
But I have never seen any surveys saying this. You must not have looked very hard. MM does surveys every Tuesday and Friday, and PB does surveys every Wednesday and Saturday and the results conclusively show that bigger jackpots are a lot more popular.
