All new lottery shows on TLC
Yeah I have them all on tape as well, and still can't get enough. It is good vicarious living. It is indeed the David Edwards one, and the others. $18,500 a day, and driving away in a fancy lamborghini diablo saying life is good. He ain't laughing now. I could tell by all the crap he bought that he was not going to last long. Most of that stuff is just plain stupid.

Parenting after a huge Lottery Win
First off let me just say I love the West Edmonton mall! Haven't been there since the early 90's but was the first mega mall I visited on a trip thru Canada. I was amazed that they counld put so much under one roof esp. the roller coaster. I can't speak from experience not haveing any kids but it does seem that kids are getting more and more spoiled. Not putting it on one gender or the other but it does seem alot of girls are getting spoiled because they take people like Lindsay Lohan and

Lottery Show...
All that useless crap, and drugs David Edwards bought, he deserves to be broke. I heard that house that he bragged up about was sold after it was foreclosed as well. Idiots.

$267 million Mega Millions lottery ticket sold in Ohio
Education can only help for long term planning, something that Jack, and David Edwards seemed to lack. But at least we now have them as examples to learn from, and to know what NOT to do.

Interest on Money?
You are referring to the David Edwards story I assume from that lottery show on TLC. I think he only won $30 some million, so he must have invested in a very high yielding interest bearing account in order to be getting that much a day. 5% of 40 million I believe is about 2 million a year, which is about $167,000 per month and $5,555 a day. So at that rate he would have to be yielding about 15% If he is actually getting this much of a return, I sure would like to know where.

Planning On Winning A Jackpot?
The way I calculate it David Edwards received a $41 million lump sum before taxes from his win of $71 million. Factor taxes into it and he gets around $23 million. If he gets $14,000 a day interest then his rate of return is about 23% and that is very very good. I think his broker is from Morgan Stanley or was at the time of the TV show Jackpot: Homes of Lottery Winners .

Dumbing Yourself Down To Win The Lotto
If you are referring to Jack Whitiker and David Edwards. Don't forget that Jack gave over 40 Million dollars of his winnings to 3 churches right off the bat and Edwards gave 900000 right off the bat to Charity. So therefore I guess my other posts about not giving to charity right away when you win aren't just the ramblings of a jaded punk rocker :)
What I get from those shows are that the people who think that their lottery win will let them change the world. When they realize they
