CVS employee accused of stealing $1 million lottery ticket
The article doesn't make clear whether the Illinois Lottery initially accepted the million dollar claim. If yes, that raises some questions. 1. Why would they accept a claim for a ticket that's cut in half. 2. Did they acknowledge the instant ticket machine malfunctioned. 3. Why didn't they investigate the sale further, such as viewing video - many lotteries do for top prize winners, especially when there are suspected irregularities. Duo facing felony charges in lottery theft scheme
Nice thing about ticket machine dispensers...money first. Not so nice thing, when the tickets get jammed and no one will fix it. ! These suspects gambled at their own risk..... Stores in my area have nightly audits, Even a dollar off on the machines..... sends a red flag... For a store owner to not have audits in place.....rather foolish. Every ticket is counted and accounted for.

Post your scratch ticket results
Thank you. I went to the office to redeem it this morning before work and they gave me the bad news that the check printer was broken and I had to come back. I went back after work and while they were processing my check I went over to the ticket machine and put in a $20 to get another Cash Explosion. The stars aligned for me today because that ticket was a $500 winner. Probably would not have happened if the printer was not broken this morning. It has been a super lucky past 30 days fo

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
My corner donut shop has a scratcher ticket machine in the eating area and 36 rolls behind the counter as well (some games are represented via multiple rolls) so I figured that would be a good place to find Diamonds. Low and behold, he had two different rolls behind the counter of Diamond Millionaire. Went with my gut, picked up one ticket #35 and scratched off a 10X symbol with $10.00 as the prize, for a net of $90. Second $100 prize I have won, with the first coming from my avatar. I don't

Canadian Super 7 lottery winner heads back to work
It's back to work for Shawn MacDonald even if this morning he is Canada's newest multi-millionaire. No, I have no plans to change any of that, the 33-year-old federal civil servant said yesterday as he picked up a check for $7.5 million. I'll just live my life as I always did. MacDonald, originally from Cape Breton but now working for the immigration department of the federal government in Halifax, picked up a ticket for last Friday's Atlantic Lottery Super 7 draw during a visit to a mall.He us
