Why do you get more with Mega Millions?Reply
Powerball starts at $15 million and goes up a minimum of $5 million per draw. Mega Millions starts at $12 million. There is no minimum increase. Usually after 2 draws MM is at around $16 - $17 million, while Powerball is at $20 million. Mega Millions reaches around $25 Million on the third draw. Powerball is around $27 million or so. When Powerball reaches a record high (currently $365 million) it will only grow in $25 million increments. Mega Millions has no such limitation.

I know a lot of people who do that. I also know married couples who file taxes to different addresses so the wife can claim head of household and get back a big return. Question??? If you have a hunch on a number and play it say $1.00 str 10 times on seperate tickets as apposed to playing it all on one ticket, is that tax evasion???? of course it won't work,because of people like you.i have received the same email and i have sent it out to over 30 people.if the gas stations wasnt over charging us then the oil companys would not have record setting profits every quarter.i am willing to try almost anything to get the gas prices down.

Why anyone would even give their name if you provide the name of the company (being the legal entitiy to win the prize) is beyond me. Jarrettac, I can't say what the rules are in TX but in FL it doesn't matter how you claim the money - your name still has to appear on the press release and is available as a public record. My question is WHY? The same goes for those who say they won't play if the jackpot is less than say $50 million AND they could afford to play every draw.
