RL's T-Lex program download, free software
RL Nice to see a sample of the QB64 code you use in your slider program. I'm in the process of learning QB64 to rewrite some of my old GWBasic programs but so far I've just learned enough to recompile them using the QB64 compiler to get them to run in Windows 8. I'm surprise the compiler even tolerates some of GWBasic procedures that weren't even documented in QB books I've read. RJOh

My system suggestion for the next PB drawing
That chart would be correct if I used all 59 numbers with one power ball but my parameters were for 54 numbers which excluded 1 2 3 58 and 59 with 29 power balls A correct chart using the parameters suggested would show 4 as the lowest number used 7,635,816 times and 57 as the highest number used 4,813,478 times. You need to add a counter in your program that count only the numbers in combinations within the parameters. RJOh

winsumloosesum, Your Master file has MS5591 for the current version of MegaMillions with only 382 drawings starting 02/01/12 but my records and so do MegaUSA records show the current version of MM started 01/18/12 which includes four more drawings. You might want to update your file. Thanks for posting those files, they have be a valuable resource when I want to check my files or add some new ones. RJOh

what basic filters to avoid conflicts in a lottery?
Sorry RJOh I didn't explain it well enough. In 6/49 each previous draw consists of 6 unique numbers. If we ignore those 6 numbers from the previous draw, (we're talking just those six not all past winning draws) not including them in our next draw's play, on the days this strategy proves correct 45% of the time we do indeed get the reduction. Most filtering software includes this filter asking how many numbers from the previous draw among the lines, (most would pick one because the odds ar

I used your files to check my files and noticed your OH5390 file was missing dates 08/04/08 and 05/20/07 and your OH6490 file was missing dates 08/04/08, 01/24/07 and 01/22/07 I found many mistakes in my files comparing them with your files and in every case except the above your files agreed with the files on Ohio's lottery website. Having your links available is a valuable resource I haven't had since I stop paying a fee to get updates from the Lotto Pro website, Thanks. RJOh

How Random is Random?
Hello, rjoh can use the cycle of numbers then catch the last draw and go To leave the last number of the lottery, as is size 49/6 60/6 59/6 lottery = You can see the amount of draw required to end the cycle (out all the numbers and start again, in this cycle, there are numbers that came out several times, while others only once, and another cycle these same numbers that came out more often in the 1st cycle Will keep coming out several times ???

Advantage Gold
I was in the facebook group about two years ago, but got kicked out so I am a little bitter. I haven't decided to upgrade yet. Have you checked out the free demo at her site? Windows based is definitely the way to go. The had a message/advertisement warning that DOS will soon be dead. Have you made any suggestions for improvements Clifford1944? RJOH, Windows is upgrading to windows 10 also. I am not sure if that is free or not, but I get messages from Microsoft to reserve my free copy, and if

Easy Winning System
Hi RJOh I didn`t know about that disclaimer but it makes perfect sense. I think people confuse a betting technique with a predictive system. Taking a number and adding up the components, the digits of that number with each other is only a technique like so many others but it is not a forecasting system. Usually people do not know which numbers to pick and try to find mechanical systems that help them to select the numbers. It is an excuse, a justification to pick that number and not ano

How Random is Random?
Same here, RJOH. Once in a while I come across programs that have line numbers from GWBASIC. QB64 hasn't made a fuss yet. LPRINT statements are another story, or were. I downloaded and installed the qb1000 version yesterday. Looking forward to seeing how that goes now. And Windows 8.1 is turning out to be more work than expected. Used the file transfer wizard, but it didn't transfer the Excel product key. Tried reinstalling Office and got the message, the product key was already used on th
