Why buy this?
I live in the one of the biggest cities in the world in the United States. Our scratch off jackpots are up to 10 million cash for a $30 ticket. I don't travel much but I was in Wisconsin recently and bought scratch offs for friends and families as something different than our usual. They have a game that is $30 and the prize is $10,000 but the odds of the jackpot are 1:1,930. Is this a good deal? Also, they had $30 tickets with a jackpot of only 1 million. That seem rather measly for $30.

If 100 million people won a $1 million dollars, instead of one person winning $100 million dollars more would play. I have been playing Mega Ball and Power Ball in my state, Texas since they came out. To date I have won 1 middle second prize and 34 lower tier second prizes, not saying much for over 20 years of playing the same numbers every drawing. hummm.... maybe I try this with Bonus Match 5 tonight?????? Unlike NY Take 5, BM5 will pay out multiple jackpots @ 50k up to $600k. So if I played 12 times it would max out the payout.

I bought 5 MM tickets which was too much. With the high odds and the second prize in CA less than 100k, I must be nuts. Plus, all but one line has a number in the 70s. Not sure why I dislike that since those numbers do show up in jackpots. Good luck, everyone!

PA will not extend. 299,460 tickets sold is break-even. Sales will near certain exceed that, so PA Lottery will still earn a profit, regardless. You're probably right about 375,000 or so being sold, though I could see it topping 425,000 with some promotion. Larger than usual in-state jackpots could help too. Cash-5 is at $1 million and Match-6 has grown to $4.8 million, which is the highest it's been in quite awhile.
