since the majority of wins are from quick picks i don't see anything peculiar about people wining smaller pots it just happened that the machine coughed up a winner because those balls were drawn. i wish it would happen to me, I'd be tickled. congratulations to anyone that buys a winning quick pick ticket. I've won 150 bucks one time this year with a quick pick. And a few smaller amounts

Nancy, Keep playing those numbers that you always play. They could come up when you least expect it. I will play certain numbers, birthday numbers for example and a insta pik or as it's called in upper Canada and the U.S. a quick pick. If you want to buy an extra ticket, if you can afford it, get a quick pick too, but keep playing those numbers if your instincts tell you too.

May as well call it Bingo...
I just realize something..I realize that the present day lottery are more like Bingos....In bingo, you pick some cards with some numbers and if you match them you win..In Mega million since most people play quick picks, the computer select the numbers (bingo cards if you think about it), and it you match the numbers you win... Yeah a person gets to chose his/her number if he likes, but the odds are so high, picking one's own numbers if futile...I think that picking ones own number doesn't not

the game might be set up to generate large pots but when a quick pick wins it has nothing to do with the matrix. It just happened someone bought a ticket that had the numbers that were drawn. this is not a big deal. in fact i would be ever grateful if my Q pick won regardless of the amount.
