MM jackpot turns out to be $390m
To all the Powerball afficiandos...how exactly does the Powerball cap/roll down work? As I'm in California I play Mega Millions and Super Lotto Plus so please enlighten me.
The current Powerball record is $365 million. If the jackpot for the drawing is at $360 and is not won what happens to the jackpot amount for the next drawing?
What if for some strange reason the jackpot is $365 and not won? Is the maximum it can go up $25 million with the rest rolling down to the 5+0 winners?

$370 MILLION: Mega Millions sets all-time lottery jackpot record
Well at least we beat the record out right now....we always had it with the cash option but now MM is the ruler once again!
There is no way no one is going to win tonight. I will be very suprised it only 1 ticket matches all the numbers.

True personal story (getting ripped off)
Speaking of getting ripped off but on a smaller scale... this happened to me twice in one week at the same store but with different clerks. I play my #s and get a few snacks, and they have me pay them for everything in one transaction. In these instances I get my change a few dollars less than it should be. The total they tell me is higher than it should be and with only a few non-Lottery items even on the LCD screen they add it but somehow they put something twice so the Lottery total is off by

What is your budget/plan if you win the 340 million?
Nah, you not bad, just page back, don't search.
The reason I say that is because so many folks have posted over and over what they would do that they are kinda tired of posting the same exact thing over and over and over.
And for the record; most folks have said they would change very little from what they do now: most would buy slightly better homes, most would give small amounts only to their closest allies, and most WOULD give to charities and organizations they like.

Is it possible to remain anonymous in NJ through a trust or attorney?
LottoBuster...in California you can set up a business enity, however the Lottery can require that the business enity name a natural person to claim the winnings. It is all but impossible to remain anonymous in California.
As far as blind trusts are concerned, what you would be looking for is a trust where the ownership is unknown. The most common type of blind trust is one where the person who owns the trust has no say in how the trust invests it's money. This is what politican's typically

What does it feel like to be rich?
I forgot to mention that since I've been actively playing the guitar for more than 20 years, one dream of mine would be to have a million dollar studio with top of the line equpment, so I can record my own music. Maybe even hire some tutors to teach me some advanced theoretical guitar techniques, and so on. I would never be bored.
I'd hire Joe Satriani or Steve Vai. Genius guitar players. Also Al Dimeola, fast as lightning, sort of like a cross between fast rock leads/spanish fusion. Maybe a

$267 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot soars
Wow...at least $340 million on Tuesday! Probably more than that... a record? My office (in VA) had a pool and we had 147 tickets in last night's drawing. For the first time we had the mega ball plus three numbers for $150. I think we will reinvest since that only is a small amount fo each person.
I looked up the odds on our winning combo....one in 13,781! And that gets you $150! What a game MegaMillions is! Still you never know...
I live in MD, work in VA...i think i will buy some
