The roll just shows that probability works about the way we should expect it to. There was better than a 50% chance it rolled, and it did what was most likely. The last jump was about 70% bigger than sales for the previous draw, and the current estimate looks to be for a modest 10 to 15% jump to about $125 million in sales. Not bad for a game that's so badly broken, eh? The Ohio lottery website seems to be a pretty good source. It's one of the fastest to have updated info, and it lists the cash value, which is nowt 202.7 million. First to pass 300 since last February, and a new US record by a pretty good margin. Based on the sales estimates there will still be about a 50% chance for another roll.

The only thing I like about the astronomical odds, is that I take home a hefty prize; and will most likely enjoy it as the sole winner. I would rather that than splitting a $100,000 with 5 people. You beat me to it!! I was so surprised when I saw the 5 numbers come up last night. All under 10! I wonder if that's a record. Once there were 15 winners, although I would be happy with almost $13,800 for one dollar. (about $10,300 after taxes) On the other hand, winning $234,000 would be better. I want to add: Only 1 winner from Miami out of 17, which is very unusual. If the press release is correct, only 1 ticket was a QP. It makes sense, since many people choose birthdays.
