US lottery operators worry as fewer millennials line up to play
My last comment to you was you misguided, you interesting..l forgot to add, in a funny way. What on earth does living in the Bay Area and politicians got to do with pumping up the jackpot? By the way it seems pointless at this stage to re educate you on the fact that States do not win jackpots- persons do.Did l mention misguided?
As Ronald Reagan would say There you go again.

Billion-dollar Powerball jackpot coming this winter?
I cant think in terms of a billion. I think of all jackpot prizes as the lump sum x 0.604. In fact, it bugs me when they advertise these jackpots as so much more than what the person will actually receive. If it does rollover tonight, the jackpot is estimated to be: $255,000,000 or a cash amount of $154,400,000.
$154,400,000 x 0.604 = $93,25,7600 after federal taxes.

Billion-dollar Powerball jackpot coming this winter?
If it keeps rolling it's likely to reach the $600 million mark by the end of February, and would probably be over $2 billion by the last winter drawing on 3/19. More than $3 billion wouldn't be out of the question if it kept rolling until then.
Depending on how fast the next few jackpots increase 2/18 is probably the dividing point between more likely to be won and more likely to keep rolling. We're more likely to see this one reach a billion than we were last week, but it's still only a smal

Calif SuperLottery
For some reason I bought 4 tickets for tonight's drawing. I dont know why. Usually, when the jackpot is low, I will buy only 1 ticket. The jackpot is now at $9 million. When the jackpots are low, I'm often motivated by the second prize. However, last draw, 4 people won 2nd prize which got them a total of $8500 each. I'm not a big fan of the Calif parimutuel system. Of course, if I won the jackpot, I wd be thrilled. After taxes, it's around $3.3 million.

Former MUSL official received severance amid lottery jackpot scandal
A prominent lottery official who was stripped of power after a subordinate allegedly carried out a prolonged jackpot-rigging scheme received a $284,000 severance payment, a recent tax filing shows.
The Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) made the payment to its longtime executive director Chuck Strutt as part of a voluntary termination agreement signed March 31, according to its 2016 tax return. The filing, released by the group in response to a request by The AP, also reveals that its leg

Trials for Tipton brothers charged in lottery scandal delayed
'They' say the computer does not know if the winning combination is bought. Bullcrap to that. Look around and see how many, if any, jackpots are won by RNG lotteries around various states.
Justice wheel turning very slowly for the Tipton's. Maybe they can keep each other company in the slammer.

Man files lawsuit over rigged lottery jackpots
How did the lottery cheat anyone? Tipton knowing the results before the drawing gave him an unfair advantage but didn't prevent other players playing the winning combination. If players with tickets for that game get their money back they will be lucky considering players who won smaller prizes won't be expected to pay back their winnings.
Facts are the jackpot was never collected and unclaimed jackpots have never been paid out to players of future games.

Post your scratch ticket results
It says $20k a week for 20 years on the ticket. If so...
That's $80k a month, 960k a year or 19.2m in 20 years. That would be an incredible prize to hit. Isn't there also an Illinois ticket wit a $15M jackpot? With jackpots that high, I imagine the odds at hitting $500 or $1000 must be lousy.
