Not yet. Once I win, with the profit, I increase my wager. When I win with profit money, and get another profit, I go bigger.

Hot Numbers Rock!
Probability is not 'edged in stone' according to Bayesian theorem. Taking any data size, 30,100,1000,4000, you'll still have a SIMILAR Distribution curve with different probabilities.Normally, in P3 we assume the data size is 1000(prior probability 1/67), updating with each draw (if you subscribe to historical data),the probability needs adjustment for the data increase.

The secret to winning lottery with Scratch off's
I think the keywords in your response are 'there are many strategies to increase your odds'.
Which is true, there are always strategies to increase any odds in any given games, not just in scratch-offs. Would that there was one strategy that was designed to guarantee a huge win. If that were the case, there'd be no need for many of us to purchase scratch off's as we would have already hit it rich.
Certainly not trying to be a naysayer but the easiest answer to the secret to winning the lot

The secret to winning lottery with Scratch off's
I think you are ignoring the analysis and research. Of course I would think the same if I wanted to believe something to be random. However, I'm not going to try and change your mind. I can say after tons of research and many lessons learned there are many strategies to increase your odds and not thinking so is ignoring obvious facts.

The secret to winning lottery with Scratch off's
I'm pretty sure that there is no strategy that will work for scratchers. Of all the lotto games out there, scratchers are the only one where there is no strategy to increase your chances of winning. It's just pure luck if you win....just my 2 cents worth.

I need help with odds calculations
If you take away 1/3 of the numbers wouldn't your chances increase to 1:97,400? What I'm trying to figure, is picking your own numbers really better than just playing Quick Picks?

I need help with odds calculations
Can any of you math wizzards help me find out what my odds would be if I eliminated 5 out of 26 Powerballs or 10 out of 69 field numbers? Is there a general formula so I can plug in the numbers on different size games to see how my odds will increase/decrease? Oh, I am using plain ol' Excel so nothing difficult if possible.

Hoosier Lotto going to $2
Yeah. Unfortunately, Indiana is going the way of most lotteries today. They are trying to increase revenue, and that is the only way to do it, outside of creating more games to play. Texas has way too many games right now, so the money that is brought in is just spread out. And every new game Texas has introduced is $2.

I'm new to this Game...AND frustrated!
Thank you you took some time to respond and I appreciate your input. I truly feel there is some true in all of your comments and I will definitely take it all into consideration. However, I am going to continue to learn and get better and increase my odds of winning when I do play.
