I did just notice this as well. I was going to post a topic but surprise there is already one here...haha. What I don't understand is the odds. They aren't changing the number of balls needed to win. Is that a typo or what? I mean they say the odd of winning will be down to 1 in 12, but how is that going to happen? Just by adding the 2+0 prize? All you get is your money back for that one. I don't like the annuity either...with a game like this just pay the $1,000,000 in cash.

Here Is The Proof Your Lottery, Mega Millions and Powerball is Cheating You
They might have started because they realized it's a smart thing to do. Not for 'changing the outcome', but to be sure their machines would function properly.
I would bet they would have the same general payouts if the first pre-test draws were used as official results. That's the nature of a random game.
As for saying certain combo's HAVE to come out, they don't (at least any time soon). Laws of randomness and averages say that things will even out over a large enough data set. The proble

What Would You do If You Knew The Lotteries were Cheating and You Could Prove It?
In a way i want the lotteries to cheat, i want the lotteries to select the winners of Powerball and to choose who they picking because this retarded people who they are choosing buying bunch of dolls, car collections, swords and stupid stuff waisting their moneys, i want them to select a responsible winner someone who is going to be responsible with the money and not split 315 million dollars in half between his wife and then another half between his other wife, and then half between his other w

POLL: Time travel
You would cause irrecovable damage to space and time fabric continuum, thus changing the vortex within curvatures of planes of existence, therefore matter would cease to exist in the entirety of the universe.
Not a good idea.
I chose the last week's pea knuckle game prediction. But that miniscule and seemingly irrevelent event will cause a rift in time thru small changes affecting the next event and so on......
The butterfly effect.

Oregon Lottery to start new raffle game
Yeah the odds might be 125k to 1 to win a raffle but on a dollar by dollar basis a $20 ticket is like hitting a 2.5 million to one lotto for a buck.
It is just another way to screw with the numbers to make it APPEAR that your odds are so great.
The only benefit of a raffle game to the common player is lack of churn. Only high tier prizes are rewarded. So this lotto makes more sense to play when looking for the life changing score. The reason most lotteries pay out 2 of 5 or 3 of 6 is

No Advanced Plays, FL Lotto. OMG!
okay - here's the deal. just called the Lottery. Surprised I got someone immediately.
They were supposed to launch the new game with the extra $10 million option in February and had to push it back until March 1. So they stopped advanced plays. If my timing is this bad in life, maybe it's a hint that I should just never gamble anyway.
Scary, just read your post. No, I didn't miss out on $232K, since 3 people won a little over $77K that night. A 4 way split if would have been $58K minus ta

Matrix change: Powerball to get much harder to win?
They are definitely not thinking they can payout $1 million without changing the matrix, raising the ticket price,and/or killing their cash cow. Right now 60% of the prize money goes to the jackpot and a bit over 11% goes to the second place prize. Paying 2 1/2 times as much for second place would require about 123% of the current prize pool unless they pay fewer second place prizes. That leaves them the choice of raising the odds and/or reducing some of the other prizes.
Reducing the other

Lotto Movie: The price of Cracking Pick3..
It's a movie about the implications of finding a method where you can pick, play, and win the pick-3 every day. A remake of the movie Lonely Guy because about three days after they told 1 person of their find, that number would be sold out and the lottery would shut down the game. There has been some discussion on the best ways to play and cash the winnings, but that would make for a boring movie.
A better story might be how a good looking young software salesman convinces an elderly state l

Lotto Movie: The price of Cracking Pick3..
I once took a computer class where the prof. would give a test that consisted of a program full of errors. We were graded on finding correcting the errors...
Why they don't make a movie about cracking the code (pick3)...?
'Cause Jessica Alba is far more interesting to look at. Maybe if she has a lead role ...
Now let's assume that you cracked the code and you was to claim 25,000 every day (Assume you had your network of helpers to do it)...You multiply 25K times 365 days of the year a
