i agree that playing a set of numbers (or a number of sets if the jkpt is over a certain level) is basically all a person can do. choosing sets using whatever formula one desires and occasionally combining them with quick-picks seems to work well. beyond that...if and when one of those sets hits is beyond our control. but i always keep reminding myself (as basic as it sounds) that no matter what numbers might be on my ticket... all of the numbers are sitting in the drawing machine and all these

If you found a winning lottery ticket what would you do?
>>>If I find a ticket with numbers picked buy an individual and more than one set of numbers on the ticket, I'd ask the lottery officials to see if the person who comes forward stating he/she lost it has the card used by the machine to print the ticket that way they can check the card against the ticket to verify if this is truly the winner.<<<It really wouldn't be up to you to decided what another person needs to claim the ticket you found. It would be decided in court. If any

military time
the point im attempting to make is this/why does texas print the time across the results ticket when you ask for the results . but whenever you purchase a lotto ticket, the time is omitted? one would have to specifically program a computer or software to not give the time the ticket was purchased, right? so, why go through all that much trouble? why even bother? unless there is some reason some undercurrent weve missed perhaps some ulterior motive? visiondude please dont wack this post! anyway,

A doubt on scratch tkts
In Oregon you have to activate each packet of scratch tickets through the lottery terminal by scanning the bar code on the packet wrapping before removing them from their packets. Plus when you win on a scratcher the terminal prints a winnings slip which is stapled to the ticket to show verification of payment to the person who bought the ticket. Once the winning ticket is scanned by the lottery terrminal. If the person was to pre-scan the tickets it would show the time and dates to when the

IL pick 3's Extra...
Asetnes, The answer is, NO.'Extra', is simply a match game. You line up whatever, numbers they give you on the bottom, with the actual numbers you played on the top. If any number is in the same position, top and bottom, you win the 'prize' amount next to that number. You can win more than, once on the same ticket, INSTANTLY . The actual number drawn in the drawing, has no effect on the 'Extra'. If you cash in your 'Extra'- ticket, the machine will print you a 'replacment' ticket for the to

SOLVE MY PROBLEM
I agree with that. You must read how the game is played. For the month of May, Ohio came up with a promotion for their Buckeye5 game, a free quickpick ticket for every $5+ ticket you buy. Yesterday I bought three $5 tickets and three free quickpicks popped out the machine and the clerk wanted to hangon to them for herself until the store manager told her that those tickets belong to me unless I wanted to give them to her. It was the third day of that promotion, so I can't believe she didn't know

is it luckier to buy tickets on the rich side of town?
Brock Lee, This one might make people 'luckier', not blocking others from getting to a lottery machine because you put money in it and are using the front of the machine to scratch the instant ticket you bought.

Cash4life is coming to an end in two days. Truly the end of an era.
Apparently they are continuing to update the databases for both the p3 and p4 . They are posting on the NM website and charging for tickets the machine won't print. If a clerk is unaware then the slip is fed in t h e machine and charges for a ticket the the system won't print.

Illinois lottery player has surprise run-in with grandma at the store, wins $1 million in Powerball
Nice win but I hardly think running into your grandmother in a convenience store when she obviously lives in the area can be considered a good luck charm and the reason he won. Unless it was a quick pic. Then the time he took to chat with her enabled the lottery machine to circulate it's tumblers at the right time to give him the winning ticket.
