Harnessing the Power of Appreciation
Quote: Originally posted by Rip Snorter on March 27, 2005Makes sense. It's not the way I do my gratitude rituals, but my purpose is to affirm my own gratitude, remember it as much of the day as I can remember to do it, as opposed to manifesting desires. I tend to use creative visualization for the second part.JackWhat I described basically creates a parallel universe in which what you've visualized has already manifested, and with the emotion of joy and appreciation it's much easier to make that

Gambling casinos on TX + other states.
I'm generally in favor of ending the casino monopoly on table game gambling and the governmental monopoly on lotteries. The case for forbidding gambling wasn't a good one, perhaps, back when it was illegal everywhere except Las Vegas and there were no governmental lotteries. It was done in the guise of protecting the morality of the citizenry, which it didn't succeed in doing, which was a misguided and hypocritical aim, but was at least, consistent. Now it is a complete farce. The Native Amer

Fortune cookie fuels record Powerball wins
Here are my two comments...1) Imaging if they hit the jackpot, the cash value would have been about $125,000 each (or about $231,000 over time). So the 21 people who played the powerplay are lucky they DID NOT hit the jackpot.2) I would have to check the Powerball rules, but I thought that most Lotteries have the right (if it's in their rules) to pay such a prize as a Pari-mutual prize when there are a large amount of winners. So again, the winners are lucky that Powerball didn't change the priz

New Georgia Fantasy 5 Game in 11 Days
LOTTOMIKE,I seriously doubt they are going to twice a day. They don't have much participation now for once a day, so I don't see the need to do it twice. I am hoping it will be something like Florida's Fantasy 5. If no one wins the jackpot, the jackpot pool is paid out to the 4 out of 5 winners. So instead of winning say $100 for 4 of 5, you might win $1000. Guess we will see in 11 days. ;-)Thanks,John - LA

Quick Picks Generator limit
Bertil, scroll down the page and there is a sequence generator for Lotto (no repeats). However it only generates one entire sequence at a time using all the digits from the number range. It would be nice if it was done the same way as the main page but without repeats.A long time ago I knew how to do simple programming in Basic. I had my own RNG that was similar to RJOh's, but not GWBasic . It was actually a very good program and I won a few 4 of 6 using it the same way as you want to with a s

The Pigskin Challenge: 3-9-'05
RJOH:Thank you so much for the statistical info. It further validates the performance values I am now using to qualify my final number selections. I have used those figures going back to January 2004, but it produced too many final numbers for my budget.I went back and identified my pool numbers according to your info. It increased the final number of 8 to 13 numbers, AND, it produced three (3) numbers to go with the Power Ball # 31!!!!!!!!!!This just might be the answer I have been serar

powerball & mega millions 5 draws a week
I don't think it would be a good idea for several reasons. I think play would decrease, jackpot only players (people who don't play pick 3 or pick 4 or scratchers all the time) would not buy tickets every day. Pool players would have a hard time - it would not leave much time between drawings to collect for the next drawing - I have hard enough time with that as it is (Friday night drawing till Tuesday drawing only leaves Monday for collecting at work). If they explanded to 3 draws a week, wh

Winning Mystically
Many Kryon channelings http://kryon.com/altindex.html talk specifically about DNA changing through light work. Their message is that we see only part of our actual DNA, that other parts are in other dimensions which exist in the exact time and space as the part of the DNA we see exists ... but because of our limited development at this time we only see a fraction of what's there. By working with light as we're all doing either consciously or unconsciously we are in fact activating other lay

Ticket Buying.
With few exceptions, I buy my tickets at the same liquor store all the time. They know me there and are well versed in how to run the machine. Sometimes when you go into grocery stores or other places that don't sell a lot of tickets the clerk is not very experienced. I buy large quantities of tickets for work pools and it is important to have someone who knows what they are doing. For instance, if I ask for 100 Mega Millions quick picks, I want 20 quantity $5 tickets, not 100 separate ticke
