Do some number combinations have better odds?
What techniques, RJOH? All I have read about are people posting 28 numbers and people bee-i-itching about those numbers. I would really enjoy reading how people went about picking their numbers, what criteria they used, and so forth. I can do without all that other. We all know what the odds are and that odds never change. We also know that having a 28 number pool will (on some draws) put our anticipatory odds at something less than 175 million to one and on other draws increase our anticipat

Do some number combinations have better odds?
RJOh was most helpful in posting past results that show the last 35 drawn numbers hit 5 of 5 about 10% of the time. It was interesting to me that cold streaks can run about 20 draws at a time and can be timed Stack is right on the money about hitting 5 of 5 consistently enough to break even in hopes of hitting a jackpot along the way..;....... Was that more than 2 sentences????...... precluding me fron proof reading?????

Do some number combinations have better odds?
RJOh, I'm still confident that there is an error in your analysis. Like I said, using the formula (44/56)*(43/55)*(42/54)*(41/53)*(40/52) I get roughly 1 in 28 against your eliminating 12 numbers sucessfully, rather than 1 in 487. The formula being the product of the odds of each indivdual balling NOT hitting one of those 12. I see the math you did to get 1 in 487 but I'm pretty sure the logic is wrong.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
This can't be right. I think I've seen you do this before accurately, so I'm guessing you coped and pasted the wrong thing or something, but I'm saying that it can't be right that there b/c you posted one winning combo when you use 12 numbers, when there should be 12*11*10*9*8/120=792. Unless I'm making a mistake - which could be the case cuz I haven't eaten yet today - the odds of eliminating 12 numbers succesfully should be calculated as (44/56)*(43/55)*(42/54)*(41/53)*(40/52) or

Does anyone really play Lottery as their day job
If this is the case, then get ready for ANY winnings STATESIDE to be taxed as well. Picture that...going to the store to cash in a lotto ticket worth $40 when it costed you a total of $60 to even play. You'd be spending money to play, AND, to pay pay taxes on your losses. Really? C'mon now RJOh...I think you know better than that...you're way smarter than that. As it stands, anything over $600 must be claimed at the main office where they take the taxes anyway. I could be wrong...haven't played

Do some number combinations have better odds?
This is the best I could do in reality and on the prediction board with the 10 lines I played and posted. RJOh Multi-State Powerball 1 + 1 09-10-15-30-44, Powerball: 20 03-15-27-58-59, Powerball: 20 $4 To bad a 0+1 and a 1+1 pays the same with PB, I'll be playing MM next week where a 1+1 pays more.
