Iowa Lottery CEO Terry Rich answers your questions
Though I, and many other LP'ers, understand the savings involved with utilization of RNG's, there is also a wide understanding of programming. Parameters must be manually manipulated to simulate randomness. Thus the ability of the Tipton case to exist. With use of RNG's this will always be an ability and predominant concern; though unlikely, still a possibility. If the use of halogen lottery machines dramatically increases trust in the lottery amalgamation, albeit at a proportionately slight inc

Powerball Spending Amounts - Jan 9 2015 Drawing
First part is wrong... any increase in chances of winning increases the odds of winning. If you buy 1M tickets your odds of winning are almost about 1/293 instead of 1/293000000. That's the simplified model. It's really (1,000,000-#ofDuplicateLines)/293,000,000.
Your odds of winning per ticket would not increase. But when you buy multiple tickets in a draw you sum the probabilities to get your overall probability.
You have to be at the right place, at the right time and have the

$900 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot to create unimaginable wealth
I don't understand why they are dragging their feet in jacking up the JP to $1B one billy. Afterall this is once in a blue moon event. I know they talk about projections. Just screw the projections because it might be years before we ever see this kind of jackpot again, barring a substantial increase in the numbers in the matrix.

$500 MILLION: Powerball jackpot explodes in ticket-buying frenzy
The annuity jackpot for Saturdays drawing ended up being 355.8 mil with a cash value showing 218.4 mil. The cash value right now is showing 306 mil. I think 34% of sales go to the jackpot. This would be about 88 mil higher which would take around 260 mil in sales to increase this much. I might be wrong in how i figured this and if so someone out might point it out.

Why did they change the Powerball?
I've totally lost any interest in playing with the ridiculous increase in odds. Not that I was winning anything more than a few bucks when I picked my own numbers (not every time although often enough it was fun) but I could pretend that all my crazy number logic could possibly fall in to place at the right time....Now I feel my notebook is useless until this new version of the game plays out for awhile and I start over. Our office pools together so I had money to play with each time but for now

Congrats, increase. You had it boxed as 049. Good job! I thought I'd seen 049 recently but could not remember where...

PA New Year's Raffle
yes , the site released the. numbers after 1 am. I am plum pleased when its not sell out. Players still win, and the odds increase! How is that unfavorable? I lost yet I cannot complain, its a game of chance. And having a chance is still a good thing. Looking forward to read the winners stories:)

PA New Year's Raffle
Amazing increase on sell-through lately considering how lousy sales were even just a few weeks ago. Based on those numbers, ditto on your thoughts. Will be a near, to possibly, a sell out. My guess is at least 480K will sell by cut-off.

Fancy Quickpick
What is fancy quickpick?
just a fancy way of picking numbers.
I wrote a simple program that uses neural network to generate next draws numbers based on current draw numbers.
Things that won't increase my odds:
electricity they feed to the machine varies based on people's electricity usage at that time so it's not constant.
they replace/remove the balls and use a different set after/before each draw.
Things that MIGHT increase my odds:
there might be an average electricity cu
