Powerball winners
Good question KS, just a rough observation of Sat. results looks like about 15% of tickets sold have power play on them. The JP is not affected by power play so I don't think it shows if a winner had it or not
RJOh is the stats master and may be along to iron out anything stupid that I may have to say... lol. lol.

Prediction board resesults same as live play since I play my predictions.
RJOh Multi-State Powerball 3 + 0 10-21-22-36-56, Powerball: 12 22-32-34-36-56, Powerball: 33 $7
Got back $7 of my $20 spent.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
You could also do a 4 if 4 if 8 which I have considered. My current selection of 8 is....
08 17 25 26 35 36 44 53
Perhaps RJOh can tell us if the full wheel of 56 lines has every produced a 5 of 5?
Or if there is ANY group of 8 that has ever performed well?

Gail Howard Lottery Knowledge.
Well dissecting the Lottoflagformation is a good place to start.
Remember guys whenever discussing the you have to put the little symbol to be legally in bounds. Otherwise we decide on dissecting the entire LMG, and creating new terminology for all the new formations. (And finally get that glossary done that RJOh was too lazy to do himself)
Serge, i strongly doubt you voted yes in the poll, no matter what Ronnie Said, now without getting too technical and mathy, unless some people like tha

Do some number combinations have better odds?
All roads lead to a JP RJOh, Im all for any ideas you want to try..........
My whole idea from the beginning was to start with a pool that holds the winning numbers.
Example: if it takes 10 draws to hit with a pool of 28 numbers, the odd of winning with ANY of the lines are 4 times BETTER ODDS because a pool of 28 has 40 times less combinations than a 56 number pool

Maine couple claims $8.2M Tri-State Megabucks jackpot
I had a feeling there might be an extra word in conjunction with 50% ............
Like RJOh said they may just avoid checking rates and doing the calculations over and over.....
besides, what if they quote one thing and the rates change before the pay-out??

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Both very good ideas x,
Im cutting down to 20 numbers and that the lowest I can convince myself to go at this time.......
The odds are 1 in 39 with 28 numbers and with 20, I think its 1 in 400 or something like that.....
Stack of RJOh can verify those odds..... but the point remains that its a lot of draws without an expectation of hitting 5 of 5 and with the wheel its even less......
