Michigan Long Out Hits -Stats-
Im not really sure if you go by the dates alone, but it would be something like the number of days X 2 if there was two drawings every single day of the year. Of course, there are probably holidays and possible leap years and the such to account for. I really dont pay much mind to the dates but I do record them to make sure I have every drawing. Basically, I just give each drawing a game #, which is an ongoing count of all drawing in order of first to last...oldest to most recent. If your

Mega Millions lottery jackpot increases to $31 million
In a previous post I picked the first drawing in May. It was somewhat arbitrary, but based on past rollovers I figured that would be one or two rolls past the current record (MM last November, 315 advertised, and about 184 cash). Already being one roll ahead of where I would have expected, and based on the larger rollovers in the last big one compared to November, I'd be very happy to take the record one or two draws sooner, in late April. I'm assuming that you have the dates off by one draw

Looking for Powerball Pool Player
Received some interest but no takers. Based on some questions I received, my friend asked me to post replies to the whole group. This is roughly how he has organized the group. So far about 40 people paid $10 each. They are waiting for the Mega Millions lottery to get into record territory. Somewhere between $400 anf $500 million. Then they will spend all the money collected on tickets. In case it always gets won before then, they will buy the occasional tickets when the jackpot is between $2

If a nationwide game comes along....
People wanting just one game would get a game with at least 1:225 million odds, possibly much higher. Plus there would only be one jackpot, so once it's hit there is no other game to play if the other games jackpot is high. Another big let down would be if the one game were stuck in a rut like Mega Millions. Considering it's odds it should have had the top three spots on the jackpot levels but instead has never rolled past the 300 level. Why? Because people keep winning it. Just for sales re

April's Big Jackpots
For Megamillions, no. I doubt it will hit 300 and certainly not roll again once it passes that mark. It will be another year of disappointment for Megamillion jackpots. For Powerball it might hit the cap again at 390 but still can't break a record because of the lousy annuity they have. I think the real winner this year on pots will be Euro Millions.

Jackpots a Jumping
Advertisment maybe? I have noticed tons of powerball commercials on tv lately. Also powerball has been on the news alot about the feb 18 record jackpot. Also they are having the 10x power play promotion which will Double sales to 2 dollers per number picked for the people choosing power play. I wish power play was only $0.25 to $0.50.Paying double for a chance to win more in such a high odds game is a double loss situation to me.

Mega Millions at $18 million......
This has to be a new record. The sales data is amazing also. They sold 20.1 million tickets for this last drawing. I am assuming it is from the previous large jackpot, but the rollover has never been that much. Usually at the minimum $12 million jackpot they sell around $13,000,000 in tickets. Thats almost more than a 50% increase. This jackpot run will break records on every jackpot if it stays this way. Could this be the first $400,000,000 jackpot. Brad

Why GA-KY-VA Lose for Life will flop
CASH Only, You're obviously ignoring those facts that were clearly pointed out to you about the Washington game. You're sounding like a broken record with that same tired old rhetoric you're using, and you're making yourself look rather foolish in the process. You cling to your malformed beliefs in the face of facts to the contrary. There is none so blind as he who will not see. aye'

If you could win any lotto game.
I wouldn't care if it were a local church raffle. I just want to win something one of these days! I remember when I was 12 I won a dance contest at a Bar Mitzvah. The prize was a 45. (For those of you from the CD generation, I'm talking about a record, not a gun.) It was Mickey's Monkey by the Miracles and the song I danced to was My Boyfriend's Back. So you can see I need a win badly. As far as which game I'd prefer, it's probably the Florida Lotto. Even though the winner's name is pub

powerball and mega millions combined
I voted not sure.I think it depends on what they do to the number draw.If they totally change the game and make the odds of hitting even more outrageous it would be a bad thing. If they keep a similar game, the jackpot could be bigger with more players every draw and with more player there should also be more winners. But in that case the jackpot would probably be hit before reaching record values, which I personally would not mind.
