Probability of a rollover in PB and MM
It sounds surprising, but when you do the math, not really. The 40% of combinations amounts to approximately 54,000,000 different combinations. When the game was The Big Game, the jackpot odds were something like 1 in 76 million. Therefore, the number of combinations bought in this draw would have amounted to approximately 71% of the combinations in the old game. (It actually would have been a little higher percentage because of the smaller number pool.)Thinking back, I recall that was the approxi

Group of 17 gets $9.7 million Indiana Lottery jackpot
I am in favor of group play. Actually I coordinate our office pool (currently 24 persons). As a coordinator you have to be strong and stick to a stern set ofrules. Any deviation from a defined set of rules will invite trouble if the group winsany significant amount of money. Below is a simply set of instructions that we adhere to. Feel free to share this with others as it will eliminate any possiblelegal action by those in a working environment who choose not to play.MEGA MILLIONSAs a grou

Group of 17 gets $9.7 million Indiana Lottery jackpot
Does anyone have an opinion about group lotto playing like this? I've heard some good and bad things about group play. For example, an office a friend worked at had a lotto pool. $1 US to play, and they would buy a block of tickets, all quick picks. There was no matching person to ticket, so no one person could claim a huge prize by stating that their dollar bought the ticket. So it was split equally when a small jackpot was won. But not everyone was happy with that. I tend to like the id

MM Drawing for Friday 02-13-04
Good luck tonight to everyone. Here are my personal numbers. The same I've played the last two times. Still think there's some hope in these. Additionally I have a pool at work with 8 other people for a bunch of quick picks. Can a lottery win make you happy?
>And those who quit work may find themselves isolated and at a loose end, especially if they've started a new life far from their old social circle.I haven't won so I'm no expert, but I would think this is a key issue once you bought the house, car etc. and have your place set up the way you want it. Then what? If you've quit your job, you'll have to find something new and meaningful to take up those 9-10 hours a day. Having $5 million in the bank won't help you find something meaningful to

LottoSync v1.7 issues !!
I wasn't aware it didn't select any numbers from the previous draw, that's not good at all because even though numbers repeat more often in the Daily games it does occurr enough in the Pick-5\6 to include them.Usually 1 or 2 numbers will repeat every so often but that so often could cause you to miss hitting the jackpot by 1 or 2 numbers if they were not included from the previous draw. That Gail Howard Chart is fairly accurate at trapping 4 or 5 numbers from a pool of 12 -18.It traps 3-4 more oft

Final Penn. Super 6 Lotto Drawing Tomorrow
Still trying to figure out for sure, how one would match 7 , 8, 9, or 10 or more as explained in the brochure. Apparently, thw two extra lines generated must have numbers matching the first 6 before the drawing. Lotto within a lotto. Reward for duplicate numbers, if hit. Did any one ese notice that the Combo play odds seem high for the prizes given.? I didn't actually look anc compare, but how would these compare to the same amont won on a (say $2 ) scratch ticket.? Over all odds on Match

Help with system - DLM
BobP > It seems like there is a segment of lottery software authors who connect a data base to a statistics program, toss in a few wheels and head to market.I totally agree with most of your post, BobP. I have been building an application and generating numbers for over 7 months. The app even checks the past draws and calculates the winning.Statistics are very important in lottery prediction - but its not the only thing. I have created a set of business rules to help narrow the picks - not th

Which System do you use??
Whodeani,Congrats on your wins. That is awesome. Doing better than me. I have won 5 of 6 three times also, but try every other year instead of every other month. LOL Can you tell me a little about how you play? How much do you spend when you play? How far back do you go when you analyze drawings? I usually go back 20 drawings myself and have spent on my three 5 of 5 wins, $6.00, $45.00 and $120.00.Just curious how much your system would cost to play. I run a lottery pool and I am always

Has anyone here ever won the lottery big!
I hit 5 of 6 on Lotto TX when it was 50 numbers, for a total prize of $2,400, using Gail Howard's software and wheels. Used the 18-number, 42-games wheel and using most of the numbers assigned by the scoreboard screen in the system, except for a couple of numbers which I replaced. It was a $65M jackpot and I missed the 6th number by just one digit, can't remember if I played 2 and 1 hit or if I played 1 and 2 hit, but it was a close miss. I had 3 more people (2 friends and my present husband wh
