Former lottery security employee guilty of rigging $14.3M drawing
Maybe if he had a ringtone that said Phone call for MUSL employee Eddie Tipton , but other than that it would just be one more piece of evidence that doesn't really prove anything. OTOH, the prosecution claimed that his cell phone records showed that he wasn't in Texas, as he claimed. If he'd gotten a phone call anytime close to when the purchase was made they'd presumably have a record showing a connection to a cell tower close to the store. Of course even that still leaves room for reasonable

Extradition trial begins this week in $16.5M Hot Lotto fraud case
The Hot Lotto people have a huge huge problem proving it's possible that Tipton rigged the drawing five or six weeks before and then actually rigged a lottery terminal to print the same numbers. Any terminal can be made to print out any combination on a ticket by simple filling out a play slip, I do it all the time since I'm a system player. What I don't understand is this being called a $16.5M Hot Lotto fraud case if $16.5M was the projected annuity pay out amount over thirty years. If

Extradition trial begins this week in $16.5M Hot Lotto fraud case
They refuse to specify exactly what they're claiming or exactly when they claim it happened, Stowers said, referring to the tampering allegation. However, as best as we can tell, they're claiming that on November the 20th of 2010, five or six weeks before the December 29th, 2010 lottery try, he accessed the computer, or both of the computers that generate these numbers, the winning numbers, and somehow planted some kind of software on there that activated and generated the numbers, you know, fi

What do Lottery Post members do?
PacAttack05. So you were in Millington in 1983. Small world. I lived on Tecumseh in Millington until 1985 but if you never left the base, you wouldn't know where that is. My mom (who is 90) still lives in Millington. My dad was in the Navy for a few years then went to work for them as a civilian. He was the Maintenance Control Director for NAS Memphis. You should have stopped by the house and introduced yourself. LOL. LottoMike. To where are you moving? My daughter sold her house in

Millionaire for Life multi-state lottery game to replace Cash4Life and Lucky for Life in February
Since FL is not jumping on the $5/ticket bandwagon, I guess I'll just have to miss Cash For Life. Just barely missed two 2 second prizes in Dec 2024. Only game that has reasonable odds to win enough money to be comfortable for a long time. I wouldn't be able to afford the $25 a draw to pick a set of numbers everyday and cover all the Cash Balls like I can do for $8 now, so I might have only played one ticket 3 or 4 times a week. HOWEVER...they could raise the jackpot as they have and le

Lottery is not random it's predetermined
The employees in the PA scandal and Eddie Tipton were rigging the lottery to benefit themselves and their friends. Not sure if the OP believes this, but I've seen this stated before, that state lotteries rig their games to benefit the lottery itself . The difference is that the lottery employees who rig the games for themselves don't care if other people win. They didn't go through all the tickets played and then pick numbers that no one else picked. They picked winning numbers they alre

Maryland: 12/1 - 12/31/2025
It's been 3 years now with the RNG. As far as regular skips hits for various things you may track you could back the last 3 years of RNGs, then go back the last 3 years of ball drawings and compare the two. Also consider that the ball drawing pre post draw tests could have an effect on what happens on the official draws. There were 4 pretests, the official draw, then 4 post draw tests. Next day 4 pretests, the official, then 4 post tests. So the official draw was every 9th draw. Unless, the

The Most Essential Skillset To Beat The Lottery
Lottery drawings are independent random number drawings. This means that past results have no influence on future drawings. You can analyze past drawings all you like. It's a total waste of time. Given the number of lottery games across the country, every once in a while, one of them will produce results that would otherwise be quite unlikely if it were the only game. Big deal. When lots of numbers get drawn every day, repetitions occur just because of the volume. It's similar to wea

So if you find a winning formula, it's considered fraud?
An individual who can beat a game like pick 3, statistically beyond just being lucky, is engaging in fraud. That's not a system (since all systems are worthless), that's a crime. That someone is putting weighted balls in the machine or uploading a program for the RNG to choose numbers of their choosing (Eddie Tipton). Without cheating, pick 3 is not beatable. The rolling jackpot games are beatable if the jackpot gets large enough and one has the resources to buy all the combinations. If
