Todd-do you know? (MM in NJ)
Pick-6 Slips have the Annuity/Cash choice on the play slip, but like GA, you can change your mind should you pick annuity.

Todd-do you know? (MM in NJ)
The Pick-6 Lotto slips IIRC do not have the cash/annuity boxes, but the NJ Mega Millions slips do. Chewie said you cannot change your mind if you win. I had thought that if somebody chose annuity on MM in New Jersey, they could change their selection to cash. The choice of cash/annuity when playing is binding in NY and Texas.

Powerball lottery jackpot hits record $365 million
Actually, technically, no. You get only what you checked off; cash option or annuity option. Assuming you won. If you choose the cash optioin, they will not switch the cash choice to annuity (yeah, I know you would never do that, and yeah, I know you can buy your own annuity). What is the largest Jackpot ever?
Factoring in inflation on Powerball's back loaded annuity and the very high likelyhood of increasing tax rates it would still be Euromillions assuming anyone would be foolish enough to go for the annuity. Anyone taking the annuity stands a good chance of not living through the full 30 year period and the IRS would force a sale of the annuity anyways. I plan on spending the money while I'm alive since the only thing I can do after death is vote in Seattle. So for me it's what you actually get

Powerball lottery jackpot hits record $365 million
Ryan has it right, and you do to, sort of. Ryanm's reference to any unexpected increase is about any sales beyond what it will take to generate the 365 that's advertised. If only $50 million is wagered they won't even come close to 365 because only 30% of tickets sales goes to the jackpot prize pool. The cash sum for the next drawing is almost 32 million higher than the previous draw, and requires almost $107 million in ticket sales. The annuity prize increase is limited to 25 million, whic
