Digit System Filters (Another Angle)
I'm sure everyone is aware that the Base 10 number system used in much of the world today is used arbitrarily. There is no compelling reason to use Base 10, other than the fact that it evolved from our primitive ancestors counting on their fingers and is now so ingrained in our commerce and culture that it would be very difficult to change to another. Rick, I agree that there is nothing subjective or arbitrary about the way the ratings are derived. Actually, only two factors are involved: (1) a member's actual number of posting days divided by (2) the number of days that Lottery Post has been around. (Lottery Post days) That's it. It's a very simple concept. It's the purported interpretation of that simple ratio that I see as subjective. In the jackpot games I play (6/49, 6/45, 7/50) there is a Bonus number, but you can't select it when you play.You can only pick the base 6 or 7 numbers, and the Bonus number is generated by the draw. About searching numbers on the Florida website. take for example a number I'm looking up right now 980 , I noticed something in history of that number that threw up a flag. You are effectively eliminating blocks of numbers with every decision you make. If I chose to not have an odd number in the first position, I've eliminated a block of numbers that contain an odd in the first position.
