Hunting Anomalies
- This is just an approach that I like to use, just sharing in case it might intrigue anyone with a few extra bucks to blow on their monthly lotto play, and who is bored and looking to try something new.
- So when I'm using a system of sorts for extra fun, I personally like to hunt anomalies. It requires tracking drawing results for all of the different draw games, though, and then playing the one(s) where an anomaly is likely coming up.
- The reason I like hunting anomalies is that it is

Lottery Pools
Yes I play in an office pool. I run it.
There are approximately 20 people who play, sometimes there are more than 20 people, sometimes there are less than 20.
I run around and collect either 1 dollar from anyone who wants to play if we play Mega. I collect 2 bucks if we play PowerBall. I keep a list of names of everyone who plays for each drawing. Your name does not go on the list if you didnt pony up. I save all of the lists of names because sometimes a person doesnt play but they did pla

PA Raffle Countdown
Thanks for your input! Good advice!
About your post about tickets going on sale for the New Years raffle 11 days after the Halloween Raffle ended, here's something I thought about with regard to that;
I have to believe that The PA Lottery did NOT make a whimsical decision to offer four raffles per year. My guess is that they may have even paid for a professional study or marketing analysis to be done so as to determine whether it was a good idea (or not) to do it. They may even have been e

Two workers in lottery pool sue over $118 million ticket
lol - i was teasing with my previous post. Since I dislike pools, and do not think that there is any safe way to run them and be protected from people who want what they want... the ONLY way that makes a modicum of sense is to simply give everyone their own ticket. (to my way of thinking)
yes i realize that that is a silly idea. 10 tickets for a pool of 10 with all 10 tickets with the same identical numbers would be a statement in the absurd... as is pool participation (in my opinion).

Pick-4 for Dummies Tuesday 04/27/2010
Lottery Pools, a way to join with other members to play the daily numbers game to win hundred and even thousands of dollars. Yes, it is possible to win thousands of dollars in the daily numbers Pick-3 and Pick-4 games. It is also possible to win as a group a million dollars or more in the daily Pick-4 game, more on that later.
I can show you how to win thousands of dollars, and maybe even a million dollars in a pool with other members in your state. I ve put the daily numbers simulated p

Piqua lottery winners sued by co-workers
I called this one on an earlier post.
I run two lottery pools (a MM and a PB), each of which will last about a year. When I first started running pools, I left myself open to a lot of problems; luckily, we never won. From reading about lawsuits on this site, I made up a list of rules that you have to agree to if you want to play in my pool. The rules are on a buy-in receipt that you must sign. I update the rules for new pools as I hear about new issues in new lawsuits.
The receipt inc

Pick-4 Simulated Lottery Pool for Saturday, January 23, 2010
Anyone can participate in the simulated pool; we normally have a pool for $10.00, $25.00, $50.00 and $100.00 for members of my Player s Club. For this forum we will have a $10.00 (Minimum) simulated pool.
There can be 100 participants to the pool; each member will represent their own state that is they will theoretically be playing in their own state for the pool.
You will have $10.00 to play in your state game;

Florida Fantasy-5 Players
The reason why FF5 jackpots were so good and lower tier prizes were so bad is due to the percentages allocated to prizes of the winners prize pool.
FF5's official rules show 62% of the winner's prize pool is used to fund the jackpot. The second place prize is 10% of the winners pool and the third place prize prize is 28% of the winners pool. The prize structure was purposely designed to provide a big jackpot and lousy lower tier prizes. The Florida Lottery are the one's that chose those allo

Co-workers sue British Columbia man who won $1 million lottery prize
It looks like it was an impromptu pool maybe on the day of the drawing. Because this story is incomplete the opinions of our LP resident pool and legal experts are just that. At best his co-workers only know Hung had a winning ticket with no proof that ticket was part of their pool.
I worked with two guys that split a $20 million jackpot that through the years were in many pools with other employees, but only one of the others expected a cut. He claimed he made a verbal agreement with both of
