'Classic' lottery game replacing Michigan Winfall
I live in mi and am in the process of writing them to say I won't play because of their use of a computer to generate the numbers.....guess they want to retire the crew of people doing the drawings and as you suggest this is how they will sneak in the 'puter for our daily games..........

Loyal Staff Stays on the Job after Lottery Jackpot Win
They do have socialized health care. As well as a crime problem in London. As for 1 million being enough to retire on you must live in an area with depressed real estate. Half a million is a starting price just for a home in a good school district.

minimum amount of $ you need to retire
Quote: Originally posted by ineed9million on February 14, 2005 Contrary to my name i would be happy with 2 million after taxes. If i put that money into an interest earning account at 5% i'd earn around 100k per year. Of course anything more than 2 million would be more than welcome. I think I need at least $ 3,000.000 to be able to retire since I got at least 25-28 years before being eligible retirement.

IL. evening Tues. Please post um here.
Chipp. LOL re:...I'm almost there too!I wanna win that Little Lotto when the jackpot's high so I'm hoping no one won tonight. At my age and if I played it smart, I could almost retire just throwing a few thousand from savings to checking every month and living in the same lifestyle (broke) that I'm used too. Better luck to us tomorrow!

OR
Well 3k and month and 1k a week is about the same. Either prize isn't going to let you retire unless you live in an area with very low home prices and have your heath insurance paid by someone else.
